*fingers crossed!*

We bought our current house less than 3 years ago and I swore that I would die in it before going through that process again!

Hey all, i'm hanging in there.....kind of like at a stupid plateau so I'm throwing myself full force into the fast diet ...to try and lose something in the two and a half weeks that i have left before my trip. there is a lot of stuff that i need to take care of before i go. I'm a bit stressed and so looking forward to it.

My scale is finally stabilizing and I'm .2 pounds away from being where I was before vacation. I'll take it. The new workout program is interesting. It's only 15 minutes for a week. Then I'm on to a different program. I'm really interested in beginning weight lifting programs that last about 12 weeks. I also need them to only use body-weight/free weights as I don't have any machines at home. Tonight is first sprint night too.

Shannon Good luck, I know that is stressful.

Zumba Hang in there. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself as you seem to have plenty from external sources.

Michelle Good to see you.

Hello everyone! It's been so stinking hot here lately, ugh...107 a couple days ago. My poor spinach has bolted but the morning glories are still going strong and the peppers and cucumbers are ready to bloom!

I've gone mad about cold brewing coffee for iced coffee here. Probably driving my DH crazy with my jars of ground coffee sitting around...but it's oh so good! I'm still working on finding the kind of coffee I like best without breaking the bank. Shannon, I'm going to try Dunkin Donuts next!

Ah, Michelle, hang in there - gotta take care of yourself for sure. Hope those nutty cats are mewing in unison for the most part. (I like that mental imagery)

Nice going, andrew! Whatever your weight ends up on your birthday, you're giving yourself the best present with the health improvements.

Shannon
, for the new low! Hope you get good news on the house, that's so exciting.

Zumba, your trip is going to be great! You know your stuff, so take care of what you need to take care of and have a terrific time.

Where, oh where is Rennie?!!

Happy hump day, all.

Cattails if you have an actual Dunkin Donuts near you, I recommend getting it there. I used the DD brand I could get from Walmart for years but the version sold in the actual stores tastes better to me.

Shannon, unfortunately there's a dearth of Dunkin Donuts in CA! Krispy Kreme, on the other hand...a couple of years ago, there was a drive-thru KK not too far from me! Not that I ever went there, oh, no.

I am haunted by the Krispy Kreme's "Hot Now" sign. I remember EXACTLY how those taste.

Legendary.

Ok, drum roll.......

They did not accept our counter offer but instead countered back with what they said before (basically we were in agreement on the $ but we had asked for appliances and they were not willing to leave their fridge, W&D or give us $ towards new ones). We wanted theirs bc we are tentatively planning to rent our house out but we may just sell so we can use our equity to pay down the new mortgage, we had not decided for sure. So, since we were within $2K of what we wanted to spend, we decided to accept it. But it won't be official til they sign tomorrow so there is still a chance another offer could come through before then. I will reserve my super excitement for once we are under contract!

Since I missed all the previous talk on the snoring: my husband also snores, when we got married many of the gift we received were ear plugs and breathe right strips because his friends have hiked Nepal with him and kayak camped with him and his snoring is EPIC.

For years I did fine with the snoring, but once I injured my back and started struggling with insomnia it was awful. I finally gave in and turned our guest room into my private sleep spot. I LOVE IT. Wish I'd done it sooner. I control the temp, the noise, the light, the fan, it's quiet and dark and no snoring and if I'm awake I can turn on a light and read without disturbing him. I thought I would feel like it was so unromantic to sleep elsewhere, but I don't.

Once all the romantic fun is over I deserve the best sleep I can get also, right?

We are officially under contract! We dropped our checks off last night and signed our loan paperwork today. I've already picked up boxes from the liquor store, have found a preschool for Olivia and joined a local moms group on Facebook. We are moving!! Our closing is Aug 11.
