Hi friends!
Here's what I ate today.
B- Fiber one bar, clementine
L- Lean cuisine, yogurt, banana, carrot sticks
D- Subway veggie sub, no cheese, trader Joe's salt and pepper rice chips
Snacks, clementine, pretzel sticks

Just finished dinner and will hit the treadmill in a bit. Glad to see everyone posting. I am also looking forward to spring and looking better in lighter clothes! DMC, I know what you mean about getting older. I just turned 48. Can't believe I'm almost 50. That scares me!

Pony, are you getting enough water? With the increase in exercise maybe your dry mouth means you need a bit more fluid. Just a thought...

Hi All,
 
I had a small bowl of cereal for brkfst with skim milk
Then I had a 80 calorie yogurt
Then I had a pretty good sized lasagna I made, with ground turkey (but still packed with mozz. cheese)
Then I had an orange.

Went to do a Cardio Jam class

Then came home and had a huge salad.

I am seriously thinking about jump starting with slimfast! I went to their site and they have meal plans and they are about 1300 calories. It would be good for me to do that.

I need to do something drastic.:(

Hello everyone? How are you doing. I have done pretty good today
B yogurt
snack I had to eat for surgery so I don't pass out so I had half of a sausage mcmuffin
Lunch low fat wheat thins and cheese
dinner tonight home made stew
I'm sooo tired and I have another two long day's
I have not seen anyone post today is everyone ok? I will check in later. Oh i'm sore from my wii it's funny how you don't use muscles

Tuesday almost conquered...

Tuesday good news .... I met my Valentine's Day Goal...yeah!
Tuesday bad news .... I am getting sick, feel like a feverish weak noodle.

Hello I sure hope you feel better. I had a horrible cold , sneezing, runny nose, cough, and fever. It lasted about five days. eat soup and stay healthy. feel better .... Oh wow you met your goal you good good good job. Be proud.:D

Hope you feel better. I'm a big believer in zinc and extra C in addition to a multivitamin every day. I really think it has helped me keep from catching every preschool germ that comes into our classroom! Bundle up and watch Biggest Loser tonight!

Hope all of my BFF"S are doing well. I kicked some butt on the treadmill and exercise bike last night. Really forced myself to pant and sweat. It felt good!
I'll be riding tonight while I watch BL. Pretty good eating today. I'm making an omelet for dinner, my family is having spaghetti.

Hi everybody,
I had a good day today, feel much better, thanks for the well wishes.

Breakfast - 2 egg whites, salsa, green peppers, onions, whole wheat mini bagel
Lunch - Lean Cuisine Enchilada, good, will purchase again
Snack - 2 pretzels (6" sticks) and one slice jalopeno havarti cheese
Green tea- ok, drink it because its warm and healthy
Supper - chicken panini with mushrooms and onions on the GF grill (we love these Elf-thanks!), glass of skim milk

I went to the school tonight to watch DD perform her forensics piece. Thankfully, I fit in one of those chairs with the desks attached. I am sure this would have been difficult and embarrassing 24 pounds ago. :preg: I just want there to be more air between my belly and the desk next time so I will keep working. :yes:

I had a good day too. I feel like I am in a really good routine and don't miss some of the things I used to eat like sweets and junk food! I did my step video and rode the exercise bike tonight.

Ponytail, I know what you mean about those desks. They can be tight. It's nice to notice simple things like that and the difference even a small weight loss can make. When we flew to NM in December, I remember not feeling cramped in my airline seat. Keep up the good work!

Hope all of my other BFF's are doing well. DMC, what did you decide about the slimfast? Let us know. Lindy, hope school is going well. Have you heard from MyTina? Elf, How's your newest contest going?

:coach: :coach: Paging all BFFs, life is getting busy, lets not give up, Spring is on the way, it feels good to be healthy and strong, supporting each other makes us all stronger, I miss everybody!

I am determined to have a great day. I have a full daily schedule and tonight the whole family is home which means having supper together! The sun is really shining today.

Ugh, the last three days have been interesting. I did my 5 days with 6 classes and then had the last 3 off. I don't like not working out. 3 days is probably good for my body, but not my brain. Thinking about doubling up on classes in the morning.

Anyway... as far as eating right, probably not eating so right here. I am pretty sure I havent' gained, but I know I haven't lost. Does homemade pizza, lasagna and bagels sound like diet food? yikes... Well, I did keep the portions in control at least.

Tomorrow, I am seriously thinking about doing a slim fast regime. I need to jump start and I think that would do it for me.

i will let you know how it feels, if I feel hungry or if it is managable!

Pony, looks like according to your ticker you lost another 3 pounds. Way to go! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

DMC, portion control is the main thing. You can have those foods as long as you don't overdo. Keep exercising and you will see results!

My sister is coming to visit for the weekend. Looking forward to spending time with her, we always go get a pedicure, I really need one!

68 degrees here today. What a change from last week.

Stick it out BFF's. I really find inspiration from each of you and look forward to reading your posts. Weigh in tomorrow, we'll see.....

Okay, I am ready
 
Tonight I stopped at the store and bought a carton of slimfast shakes and some snack bars. My hopes are that with this meal plan, I can learn to live on 1300 calories. I was having a hard time sticking to 1500 and when I did, I didn't see the results I wanted.

So.. I had a shake for dinner and a small side salad with spritzer dressing. Might have a snack tonight.

Tomorrow, I will start the full program. I am going to give it a few days, I know it will take some getting used to. I still have to make meals for my dd, but that's okay.

I'm one day new and am going to jump in if that's ok. My first weigh in, which I'd been avoiding, was on Thursday night. No need to weigh-in tomorrow. Today I ate healthy but need to drink more water before bed. I've had 24 oz. and want to get to 32 per day for starters. I didn't exercise but will probably do an arm workout before bed.

Hope everyone sees the numbers move the right direction for tomorrow's weigh in!

Love your Will Power Dust, DMC! I'm throwing a bunch of it on right now! :-)

Hi Karen, welcome!

I was pleasantly surprised to see I acually dropped a lb. I bet if I would have made better choices this week, it would have been a lot more than that. I will change my ticker later.

Last night I had a weightloss shake and later a snack and it was fine. I was not hungry at all and they tasted good. A little worried about all the sugar. But I will just do this one the weekends and I found a meal plan online for 1300 calories I will try to do during the week.

So back to the gym today. If my daughter felt better I would double up on class today, but she is not too great and its pouring, so I want to come home and let her relax for a bit today.

Good luck to all, I will be back later to report how the Slimfast is working for me today. Here s my menu, sortof.

Coffee this morning, I am not counting it!

Shake and oatmeal for Breakfast

Celery and ff cream cheese snack

Shake and strawberries for lunch

Smart ones dinner, small salad with spritzer dressing and a Wheat roll for dinner.

Yummy Slimfast snack bar with tea for snack.

Wish me luck all. I hope this jump starts me back to at least 8 lbs a month. I have been messin around too long!!

Stayed the same-AGAIN! :shrug: This is a pattern for me, oh well. It was also my TOM so I am glad I did not gain.

Welcome Karen! This group is the best on 3FC. Hope to see you here alot!:wave:

Portion control will be the name of the game for me this weekend. We have out of town company so all of my cooking will not be OP. I'll do my best to go easy.

Congrats on the pound DMC, every bit adds up to big losses! I knew things would work for you. Good luck with the Slimfast. Keep us posted! :hun:
