Hi everyone! well, another weekend almost gone. Even with my holiday gain I still managed a little nsv. There was a pair of jeans that I had bought around October that I could'nt wear because they were too snug. Today I got into those jeans!

Patti- I know exactly what you mean about all the holiday candy in the stores right now, what I have a hard time passing are the chocolate covered cherries. I could have the entire box eaten before I drove home!!

Ammi, sorry but I have no idea about what WW allows as I have never followed it. Also I didn't use a recipe for the meatloaf as I just usually make up stuff like that. I could tell the ingredients but it would be guesswork for anyone as to how much of some stuff. It did turn out really yummy.

Hi everyone .. wow these posts are flying by and I feel like Im missing everything lol ... but I have a couple of days off so will try to catch up with everyone now

HEATHER - Great to hear you have finished your grading .. Im sure it takes a lot of time and energy, and its good that you have it finished for now and will have time for other things ... I hope you will have fun at your social events, Im sure you will do fine and keep as op as you can while still enjoying the time to the fullest

MICHELLE - I hope you are feeling better?

PATTI - Great NSV about the new clothes! That is so kewl

COLLEEN - Its well done to you for acknowledging your eating habit over Thanksgiving and to get down to only a 1 pound gain it could have been a lot worse

CRYSTAL - Your son (is that him in your avatar?) is a real little man isnt he So cute Hope you had a great weekend

LORI - WTG on your new exercise regime Im sure the gazelle will become second nature for you no problem

XAN - Just wanted to say .. even when you have those off days, learn from it, acknowledge it and then start again the next day Youre doing great

JEN - Great job on following the exercise "thought" with immediate action, that is a great NSV for sure

JILL - Sorry to hear that 3 is at the start of your weight again .. but hun you have gotten below it before so you know you can do it again .. I know I believe in you I think maybe everyone has those times when they really just have to start from the beginning again .. hopefully not at the original starting weight (or more) each time tho lol .. so its a new day .. a new week .. a new month .. and its great that you are gonna start again .. you can do it hun!

MELISSA - That is a great mindset you have given yourself. You can also look on it as something that you will have to do at the end of the journey and that is maintain your weight ... so it could be a chance to set up your rules for that now, which will allow for those breaks you may have to take on your journey to stay focused on the end result if necessary? Just keep in mind that the usual problem is that the weight will pile back on without realising it, so keep aware, but enjoy yourself too

NANCY - Im gobsmacked that you can do an hour on the elliptical .. I still cant do more than 2 minutes before Im exhausted (and yet Im on my feet for 8 hours when I work, can do the 3+1 WATP dvd, and 60 minutes with Richard Simmons!), you are definitely a star! I know what you mean about gettin a little lax and easier on yourself ... but as long as you keep at it you will get there

ANDIE - WELCOME back hun .. and get that tail out of between your legs, that is soooo not necessary here Its lovely to see you back on the boards

XENA - Isnt it annoying when you lose a post you have spent a lot of time on lol .. I have got into the habit of highlighting all my post after each paragraph and copying it lol .. that way if I push the wrong button its only one paragraph I have to redo

MISTI - You are an inspiration to me, keeping on track regardless of how annoying the FFM has been lately for you just keeps reminding me to stick to it

TERRY - Great start for the new post When I did my first new start of the numbered post I felt like it was another NSV rofl ... I agree with you on some of the posts on here .. some of them are just sooo inspirational and a good kick in the butt sometimes too lol .. I have a few different ones printed up, some stuck on the fridge, a couple in my bag, next to my bed in the drawer .. they are like keycards for inspiration

SANDY - Forgot to say before that I love the wedding pics hun .. your daughter is gorgeous .. Im hoping that my tomboy will occasionally dress up pretty so I can take a few piccys rofl.

VAL - Hun that is great news about losing almost all of that job stress weight that you put on .. so proud of you

AMMI - Lookin forward to seeing pics of everyones Xmas decorations .. as for TOM .. still around .. although tapering off (THANK GOD!!!), this means the cravings are starting to reduce, still really tired tho, just feel drained .. not good when youre anemic lol .. still .. hopefully this wont happen very often. Oh and for the weight gain .. I really dont know rofl .. I have TOM around for such a long time that my weight goes all over the place, before, during and after .. I have lost and gained weight at all different times, so maybe Im a bit abnormal lol.

Okee .. will post this lot .. I know Im a little behind with updates but hopefully you will read it in the moment rofl.... will pop on my update soon

Just a quick update on me

TOM is still here .. getting very tiring .. fortunately its getting slower ..

Ankle is feeling a lot better .. although being on my feet all day (or night in my case) at work makes my lower legs and ankle swell up so much, I hobble when I get home and need to rest for hours before I can walk comfortably again .. hopefully this will finish soon cos I hate not being able to do my main exercises properly (have to adapt a lot of the moves at the moment to stop the pain).

Yesterday we went to work (yes even on my day off rofl) to get Xmas decorations and a new Xmas tree, our old one was a bit of a mess and the decorations were crap really rofl .. so Ash and I put the tree together last night and for the first time I even have outdoor lights! Will get Scoot to take pics when he comes home this weekend .. I want to get some more lights for outside .. but will see how the finances hold out lol . wonder how much power they use too???

Okee .. have to get the washing folded and put away and start doing the cleaning

Will put my 5 positives later

Huggies all

Love & Laughter!

COLNEEN - WTG on getting into those jeans! That's such a fantastic Cha-CHING! feeling!!!

JILLY, Salads? You made SALADS ahead of time??? Hmmm. Why didn’t I ever think of that? I cook my chili, meatloaf, chicken & such ahead of time so it’s at my fingertips when I need it. Salad never crossed my furry little brain. Thanks for turning on the lightbulb! HA! …Woo-HOO, JILL – Send those ugly pound puppies back to wherever they came from! Glad you’ve knocked those three off again.

AMMI, I just made up the Tis the season thing, but it was inspired by ANDIE. She was making me think of how we’re all going into the most difficult time of year, but that doesn’t mean failure, right? In answer to your TOM question, I find the scale goes up in the week ahead and definitely when it starts, and the scale drops in the last day or so. Sometimes it’s spiteful and waits til my first day of no flow. (I can’t believe that last ‘f’ word was so hard to type – like I was saying something rude.)

HEATHER, I absolutely SWEAR that I’ll get back on my treadmill tonight, or I just won’t go to bed. I keep promising I’ll do it, but there it sits, still folded up, lonely, abandoned. You see? Being all P.O.-ed at Bill DID have it’s up side. I worked that thing a lot harder when I was really mad at him. Maybe I should call him and ask him to say something stupid?? He’s a man – How hard can it be?? *** As for the exercise thread, I may have had a small part in starting it, but you are the driving force, the organizer, and the she-hero of that thread. Never the less, I'll try to hold up my end this month. I owe for last month, falling BOOM on my face.

PATTI – I hope this is a really good, OP week for you. Sometimes weekends can be so tough!

KATT, It’s always lovely to see your bright and beautiful self on the board! You’re such a spot of sunshine! Isn’t it something to miss a day or two around here?? Good thing they don’t have weekly tests!

Well girls, as of today I’m wearing my wedding ring on my middle finger. It’s been sliding on/off my ring finger so easily I’ve been scared I’d lose it. Then today when I was joking around about wearing it on the middle finger, it just slid on, just like that! And I wasn’t even really trying to put it on. Another NSV, I just realized that yesterday when I was riding, I was doing it in my smallest pair of jeans! Of course, now I’m scared to wash and DRY them again! Who knows how tight they’ll be after that, and then it’ll be an NSP… non-scale POUT! Oh well – gotta risk it!

Heavens, you have no idea (or do you) how bad I want to bake some cookies for the office tomorrow. It can't possibly have anything to do with my own personal sugar cravings, now could it? Don't worry. If the office wants cookies, they'll have to go bake their own. None will darken my oven's door.... Even tho I DO have the ingredients...
