In between hot compresses on my eye, I got more housekeeping done today than I have in forever. I've been pulling out and sorting clothes, but I still have a bunch of trying on to do. Once I know what still fits, I'll know what to buy to go with it. I'm tossing tons of old socks and T-shirts with stains or whatever that classifies them as "Barn Only" wear. How many barn shirts does a person need?

My friend, Barb, was a really good influence tonight. She dragged me out for a walk around our hilly block. Next time I'm going to leave the dogs home. Walking both of them, or trying to, kept me from finding a rhythm or using my arms in a normal way.

Found a bunch of gifts and things I have meant to send to various people. Even wrapped my first Christmas giftfor my MIL.

You gals are doing so well these days. A bunch of you have found your stride or are reaching goals. You never let me lose sight of why I'm here and where I'm headed. Thanks again for all your support and kindness.

Ah-Oh. Compress time again. Luv you guys! Be good!!

Just passing through... I took the afternoon off and am not getting any exercise due to feeling so cruddy... but hopefully it will go away soon.

Blessings to all.

Just a quick post to congratulate those who are so close to certain goals. Patti and Katt, congrats on being in twoderville. I remember what a fantastic feeling that was. Patti, it’s so nice to put a face with a name. Katt, I enjoyed the photo of you in the photo section with your caricature. I could only catch a bit of the haircolor though. Nelie, I see you are hovering at the brink of 100 lbs lost. Yoohoo!

Valerie, I’m sorry for all of the pain and frustrations you are going through right now. to you.

Welcome TrixiePixie and 4MeNow.

Sharon congrats on the 2 lbs so far this week. Wow, you’re doing great!

Misti, Sitting in booths was always something I dreaded so much. I would start worrying way ahead of time about how tight it would be and if I would have to say I couldn’t fit if I was out with other people. I finally realized about 2 months ago that that is no longer a problem. I prefer booths now since they’re usually a little more comfortable. I’ve had a couple of booths lately that have actually felt too big. I’ve felt like a little girl perched on the edge of the seat so I could reach the table.

Chrissy, Yikes on the mountain being on fire. Hope they were able to put it out by now. The photos of the bridesmaid dress being too big were great. I would definitely hang on to that to keep trying on.

Katt and Ammi, I was just reading your comments the food boob problem. OMG, I’m glad it’s not just me. My kids had gotten to where they used to tease me about “doing a tammy” when I dropped something on my boobs or leaned into something. There's not quite as much out in front now, so I don't do it quite as often.

Today was a pretty good day. The scales showed a pound loss, and I'm not too far from the 220s. Maybe I'll make it there next week. I walked 3 miles this morning, then went back to the park this afternoon for another 2 miles. A small NSV for me: Today I wore a shirt that I had purchased a couple of months ago after my original fat clothes got too big. The shirt is now very big on me. I had to wear it anyway since I'm running short of clothes that fit, but it's nice to know that the "second generation" of clothing is getting too big. Hello to you all. Hope everyone keeps up the great work.

Hello- It's been another long day- thank you to everyone for the hugs and encouragement. i am determined to get over this hump, i just don't know how quite yet- except to to keep going best as i can- never giving up!

Ammi- you made a really good point about my diet plan- I'm seeing how hard this could be to maintain just by the trouble I'm having now that I'm out of food. I do think that for now it's all i can handle-but I think that when my life slows down I'll need to look at counting calories or something. They do have a phase once you hit your desired weight to teach you to maintain- but this week has me worried if i could ever do it without the food.

I'm thinking about putting in a request end of next month for some vacation- maybe for halloween time. I won't go anywhere probably, but just being away from work will be really healthy I think!

Well- I'm sorry no personals, I just can't keep up right now. I'll check in in the morning- hugs!

JTammy, you are doing so well, when I don't 'see' someone on the board for a while I just think that they're either busy or they have gone 'off plan' IT'S DEFINITELY THE FORMER FOR YOU, isn't it!!!!! xxxx
Valerie, I forgot to mention your poor eye, with that 'hubby problem' you're having. I hope it gets healed up soon, will it stop you going to the barn for a bit? I know how dusty and dirty they can be, though sadly, I LOVE the smell of horses & horse poo!!! AM I WEIRD???? lolxxxxx
KATT great on being in two town, I thought you'd overdone the unpacking/sorting thing, though it must feel good to have done it & see the results, a tidy guest house. You sound so posh!!!! lol we have a 'spare room' but no 'guest house', lol.xxxxx
Patti, WAY TO GO on two town too!!!!! Are you back to exercising again now? I REALLY have to, now that TOM is going, thank goodness.xxxx
Nelie I hope that your dress doesn't fit you & you have to have LOADS taken in!!!! Only coz I know you want to lose weight and not coz I'm horrid! The looks on people's faces when they see you looking slimmer will be NEARLY as good as getting married, I bet!xxxxx
Ammi, thanks for our chat yesterday, I feel MUCH better today.xxxx
I Had a bad day yesterday, there was a really bad storm and it blew loads of rain onto the balcony which flooded and poured into the dining room, via the ceiling! The boys were naughty, more so than normal and the chicken I was to have for dinner was bad. I should have known better, but had a bottle of wine, then some pine nuts went to bed but came back down and had a bowl of icecream!!!! I feel ashamed, silly, weak and bl**dy fed up that this stupidity on my part could stop me losing weight this week, spoiling all of my hard work in an hour or two!!! Still I am back OP and behaving myself, it's weigh-in day tomorrow-Saturday, so I will see the damage then. I get so angry, why do I never learn?
ANYWAY, I have to go shopping & stuff, I hope you're all doing better than me & anyone feeling 'POOPY' xxxxxx

xxxsharon

ROFL .. Sharon hun we definitely arent posh at all rofl .. heck we have lambs walking round our garden rofl ... its one of those garages that have been built for a room rather than a garage .. although its about the size of a double garage almost really ... when I showed it to Scoot tonight he said how about we move out there and dad can have our room roflmao.

Thankies for the congrats on my Twotown arrival I definitely think all of that moving of things helped a lot lol ... and oh am I paying for it today I am ok as long as I dont breath too much and dont bend (as I found out when I was doing the washing today - another 5 loads down ... just the sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases left!! yippee). All the muscles in my ab hurt like crazy and when you poke it it feels really tight (great if there wasnt so much of it rofl), so I think with my daily crunches and all the lifting and moving Im afraid I may have done some sort of damage .. happy I made the doctors appt now rofl.

Gonna have a slow weekend, although we are going to the capital tomorrow in the test drive of the car we have for the night, so its Subway (have convinced Scoot not to take me to Dennys cos Im still too close to the 300 rofl) ... other than that and posting some packages and more loads of washing .. Im gonna take it easy and hope that my muscles loosen up a bit so I can breath easier lol.

Valerie was just re-reading about your eye ., was it a lump on the inside of the eyelid?? I had those quite often when I was a teen/preteen and had all of them lazered out, wasnt the nicest of experiences, but it was worse when they did it to my right eye cos Im blind in my left and so for a couple of days I was bangin into everything lol. Hopefully you will have a quick recovery tho

Huggies all

Sounds like the FFM has gotten her butt kicked back into gear...so many great losses! Congrats on two-town/twoterville, Katt and Patti!!!

Welcome, 4menow and trixie! Being here is a great first step and a MUST for a lot of us for success--such great support, advice, and understanding.

Ammi--102 miles! Just goes to show that every little bit really does add up, and you don't have to run marathons to make progress. Keep up the great work!!

Annie--did not get to give you the welcome back you deserve I'm so glad to see you here again!

idril--ugh, the dreaded TOM. Hope the cramps get better soon...I know I just had a TOM that lasted almost 4 weeks, cramps and all, so I definitely feel your pain (no pun intended).

Katt--eek, Denny's is tough. Maybe you could go somepleace like Applebee's (they have a WW menu) or Ruby Tuesday (giant salad bar) if he wants a sit-down meal? That way, you don't have to bore him with Subway again (even though I LOVE it and think I could honestly eat there EVERY day...just call me Jared ).

Valerie--man, Christmas gift wrapped already?! heh, I probably won't have any to wrap till, oh, around December 20

jtammy--congrats on the -1! I love being close to a new "decade" of weight...you'll be in the 220s before you know it!

kim--I agree that even when not going anywhere, a vacation from work is a FABULOUS thing. I got lucky over the summer and ended up with a whole week off between jobs, and it also happened to be my birthday week! I didn't go anywhere, just lounged around and did some chores and whatnot, but it was nice to be away from the usualy stressors of work.

Sharon--I bet anything you gain at your weigh-in will be some water weight, and you'll see it gone by next weigh-in. I'm sorry you had such a bad day, but things can only look up, right?

Hello to everyone else out there! Keep up the great work...we're seeing LOTS of progress around here lately!!!

My scale says 281 this morning, so the 270s are soooo within reach! Today starts my 3 days of off-menu eating, but I am still going to be very careful. After 4 days of (self-imposed) fruits and veggies, I am REALLY looking forward to things like turkey sausage, Subway, turkey burgers, etc. I think going super-strict for a few days makes me more appreciative of the many yummy HEALTHY foods there are rather than making me want a box of Zebra Cakes or a candy bar. Speaking of the turkey sausage, I'm going to go nuke it up for breakfast. Have a great day, all!!

good morning! I couldn't seem to wake up this morning- hit snooze a million times! Anyway- I don't have much time, but wanted to say goodmorning. I'm supposed to weigh in today-and I'm dreading it, this week was a flop, except for my excercise, I've just been eating what I can grab (my old habits). whatever the scale says I'm determined it won't get me down- i know I can do this- I just need to get back on track. The bad news is that I still have work tomorrrow,I'm off sunday, and then back at it on Monday, so only 1 day to rest up and when I'm this tired, that's probably not enough. oh well, somewhere I'll get the rest I need- I know my body will demand it. I just hope it's after I've finished my two major assignements due begining of this upcoming week

Got to to rush off to work- have a great day ladies!

Good morning, everyone. I am glad the FFM is visiting a lot of you! It is hard not to get discouraged since she sure doesn't come around here much but I just have to keep going and trust she will eventually show up. <sigh>

I am so glad it is Friday... since I've been sick all week and can't WAIT until tomorrow so I can stay in bed. Although that means missing my new water aerobics class.

Happy Friday... everybody stay encouraged!!!

Morning all!

Gotta be quick today!

Nellie- I'll probably be gone when that last lb drops off – so WTG on the 100 in advance!

Katt- to Two-Town! It's a nice place to visit and to live for a while. Before long you'll be closer to One-derland!

Valerie- You WRAPPED a Xmas present! I haven't even got any Halloween costumes started!

TrixiePixie and 4MeNow:

Jilly - I like your self-imposed vegan days! It's an interesting idea. I may have to try that next time I go off the wagon too much. Certainly would be extra-low WW points, since veggies are free.

I see we have a lot of losers to congratulate! to you all! And a big to anyone feeling down or struggling. I'll be gone by 3 on my way to a camping event, so I probably won't have much to say until Monday! Have a great weekend if I don't make it back today!
