Good Morning All,
Ah bliss, I have a full day of doing nothing. I should be doing some housework, but it's too hot, and I am fed up of having not enough time to catch up with all you lovely people here. So today 3FC comes first, and if I have time later when it's cooler I may just do my cleaning then

One thing I really must do is my exercise. I know I walked a lot on my birthday and have been busy since, but I hate that I haven't had chance to go on my Gazelle Rider since Saturday. Today I will definitely be working out while listening to one of my new CDs
Brenda - sorry this is delayed in coming, but
on your few lbs lost!!
What a great idea to make Bling Bling for little kids, I hope you will photo some of your stuff one day so that we can see how talented you are
I have enjoyed reading your blog, I hope you don't mind that I put a comment on there. If you do, I can delete it, and I won't add any more
Nelie - I hear you on the butt being bigger than your top half. If I was to wear a top that only went to my waist I could wear a 22/24 no problem. But because I want my tops long so they cover my butt and my belly I have to buy 26/28. Saying that though, it's not just a 'fat' thing. My step daughter has a tiny top half, AA cup size boobs, she has a little waist, so tops are a size 10. Her jeans need to be a 14 though because her butt is her biggest part, but because her waist is tiny she always has to wear a belt because the waist line on jeans etc is massive on her in order for the butt area to fit. So as I said, it's definitely not just a 'fat' thing
Angie -
well done on being another 3 lbs down, you are doing so fabulously
You are now a member of TWOTOWN
it's fantastic news!!! I am sure you will lose that last 5 lbs you want before your hubby comes home. I can't wait to hear his reaction when he sees the weight you have lost.
Did you find the Picture Page with my pics on it. In case you didn't, this link should work http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...t=34758&page=5 My pics are on post 63.
Rkrs - How are things in St Louis now, I hope everybody has power again now. I should think they do considering I have been absent for a few days.
Thanks for your kind words about my weight loss and my photos. It took me a while to see that I do look a bit smaller in the full length photo, but was more than happy that at least my weight loss is obvious in my face
SugarKube - hi and a belated
to you. Did you make it to the gym later in the day after you had finished looking after the kiddies?
How often are you intending to weigh yourself? I just noticed that you said you weighed as it was your official start day and that you were still the same weight. I personally hate the scales, and wish I didn't have to get on them ever
I did weigh once a month, but realised that if I was doing something wrong I wouldn't know for a month to make any diet or exercise changes etc, so now I force myself to weigh weekly.
NightKatt - hello and a belated
to you too. I see your first goal is to be in Twotown, it's not far away, I am sure you are going to be there before you know it
How did your first WI go today.
Well done on not giving in to that chocolate mousse in the fridge when you discovered your daughter had run up such a huge bill
Rest assured you are not the only parent that has had the misfortune of having that happen. I know two other people who have recently been in the same boat. How old is your daughter? I am guessing she is in big trouble right about now!!
Has Sharon (voodoo) introduced herself to you yet? It's no secret, so I am sure I am not letting the cat out of the bag
but she has been thinking about emigrating to NZ. Lucky her, and lucky you for actually living there now! I used to live in Australia, and I had a few cruises with my family that took us to NZ as one of the ports we called at.
Misti - so glad to hear you have lost another lb
With the heat a lot of us are having it's no surprise that the lbs are slower coming off.
I love how you put your icy drink inside your waistband when you went walking, great idea. Good on you for still exercising despite the heat. I am loving the summer we are having here, but I do hate it at night when it's too hot to sleep. I have an air cooler blowing on me all night, plus Daren installed a ceiling fan, and we are still melting
Sharon - my poor dear friend, how is the ankle today? I hope it's not too painful, but I am sure that hobbling around on crutches in this weather is no fun. Is Steve taking time off work to look after you and the boys? You take care and I hope you are up to sitting at the PC so we can chat soon
Nancy - I think it's a great idea trying to train youself to realise that one egg, or a small portion of something is still going to be able to satisfy your hunger. It's funny how the mind can sabotage us. I only have one tip that I read online once about having smaller meals. Don't serve them up on big plates. Change to a smaller plate so that it is full and you don't see a tiny looking meal lost on a big plate
Thanks for the compliments on the photos. I didn't think there was a noticeable difference in the full length pic. But after your comment on my tummy I went and examined the photos better, and yes, I do believe that my tummy looks smaller. Thank you
Lilion - oh yes you are definitely right when you say not this time lady about me stopping at 35 lbs and gaining it back again. I am so thrilled to have past that number and that I KNOW I am going to get to my goal this time!!! Thanks for the compliments on my pics, I was worried about posting them but I am glad I did now
Heather - I am glad you could see a difference in my pics, I am so happy that it's not just Daren who assured me that both pics showed my weight loss
He's my hubby, I thought he was just being nice
It's funny about my not smiling in the photos. The first lot I was feeling miserable in because I was so ashamed of my size, and then as I wore the same clothes for the progress pics I automatically did the same face
I promise my next progrss pics will have me with a big smile on my face
Patti - how are you doing with the exercise and eating now, are you enjoying WW? Thanks for the compliments on my pics, much appreciated
Newsnerd - Hi and a belated
from me. I hear you on MILs, one year I was going to have surgery so my MIL was coming to help out for a week or two. The surgery ended up being cancelled (bed shortage) and MIL decided she would stay 6 weeks!!!! I was about ready to pull my hair out by the time she finally decided to leave!!! I hope you don't end up in the same state by the end of your MILs 3 week stay.
Don't be disgusted with yourself about not getting your exercise in and eating more than you should have. Bad feelings like that probably make you want to eat more? So forget about it and move onwards again
I am sorry if I haven't commented on what others have said on previous threads, I am too far behind to catch up

I just want to say

to any newbies I haven't been around to welcome,

to those here who have lost weight and/or had NSVs and big

to all those who are having a hard time of it now. Take care all,
Hugs,
Ammi
