Well, we just got back from the property that we are buying. My hubby is so cute. He wanted to show our dogs. LOL. So, we took them out there and let them run around and have fun. They sat on the porch with us as we admired the pine trees. It is a beautiful place.

Crock, Ammi, Wyllen, Xena, Kayley all of you who have mentioned my attitude being good. I want to tell you it really is thanks in part to you all helping me along in this journey. To love myself and not be too hard on myself all the time. I appreciate you guys so much. I was going to post some pics of the outside of our new place but I have no idea how to do it. If anyone can tell me how I'd love to post the pics.

Blessings and good night all,
Annie

Good Morning All,

Well not a good start to my exercise this week. I did so much walking yesterday that now my back is killing me. I took pain killers and if being up and about a few hours helps then maybe I will be able to do my rider while the football is on later

Crock - I am glad everything is ok now about the Austin situation. How is the little guy today? I hate to ask, but from all that you have said before, do you think there is any likelihood that his dad had anything to do with the 'accident'? Oh boy I guess if you could prove that there wouldn't be time for the police to get involved, you'd be round there to sort him out yourself!!

Patti - um, just once more, WOOHOOO and for being in the 200s

Kayley - I know what you mean about wanting to see a difference in yourself and that right now you just can't. I mean you KNOW you are losing because not only do the scales say so, but you are getting into smaller clothes, or old clothes are fitting looser now. But it's still not the same as looking in the mirror or seeing new photos and thinking WOW I look good Don't worry, that time will come.

Have a great weekend, even if it is a hectic one.

Heather - I love your attitude on losing weight and not setting a goal time for it. I totally agree with you, it would be wonderful to lost that 100 lbs in a year, but if it takes a bit longer, it doesn't matter because you are still that much lighter.

Annie - oh that is so adorable that your hubby wanted to show the new place to your dogs. The question is, if they had seemed to dislike it would he still want to move

I am going to email later, and will explain about putting photos on the pic page. Of course by then somebody may have told you here, but I will still tell you

Melissa - why don't you PM a moderator (thinthinker) and ask about posting that link to the yahoo group? If you aren't allowed you could always get people to PM and ask you for it if they want it.

Ok got to go try hang some washing out now. Hope my back will behave! Look after yourselves and enjoy your weekend.

Hugs,

Ammi

Annie -- like Ammi, I love that you guys took the dogs there. That is definitely something we would do!

Ammi -- Do take care of that back! I have similar things happen from time to time. Maybe find another kind of exercise that is back friendly. I do back exercises (and abs!) to strengthen my back!

Heather - I would love to be able to do abs exercises to stengthen my back, but since my surgeries I can't do anything like that because of being susceptible to hernias. Don't worry though, I won't do anything to make my back worse, thanks for the concern

Hugs,

Ammi

ammi~~ that is exactly the first thing I thought of.. HOWEVER, Austin was at his grandmothers and he does cannon balls in the bath tub all the time and I have know idea where she was or anything, but apparently he was gettting ready to do his cannon ball and he fell and hit the commode is what cut him... The Brother n law was at the grandmas house, and as for the Brother n law. if any foul play had occured we would be going to a funeral.. He is a real good man and a real good Uncle to Austin.. Austin is doing good... He is just so sweet.

I had a neat compliment yesterday.

I was in the mailroom at work alone when a woman walked in. She started saying "Is anyone in here? I don't see anyone" etc... I looked up at her and she said, "Oh THERE you are. You are so tiny I didn't see you. I didn't think anyone was in here."

I laughed and told her that it has been so long since anyone called me "tiny" that I would take the compliment even though I know it is not true.

I thought it was a cute way for her to express encouragement about my weight loss. I am sure she understands as she too is heavy and has been losing.

Crock - what a relief that Austin's dad wasn't involved. I bet the granny feels awful that her hurt himself in her care.

How are you doing with eating, are you managing to get together some SB food?

Patti - see although I read that you can't gain much muscle in a month, I am now worried that I won't see a loss on the scales because I am exercising regularly now I will never be confident getting on the scales because I know from past experience how fickle they can be. Still, I do hope to see a loss

Misti - I can't believe I didn't comment on this earlier, but I am sure you said that you had lost yet another 1 lb bringing you to a 3 lbs loss this week! Woohoo the fairy fat mother is loving you now. Oh and don't worry, if she starts being mean to me now I shall come to you so you can start threatening her thanks

Great compliment you had in the mail room, it's so nice to have people be so encouraging of your weight loss

Well gotta go wash some dishes before the football starts. Take care all and bye till later,

Hugs,

Ammi

Ammi~ SB food is doing so so.... I am making smart decisions when it come to what I am eating and HOW MUCH of it.. If it is OFF PLAN< I reduce the portion size a lot,, but I still have the beans, and have been having a turkey breast on whole wheat toast with Tomatoe and Mayo.. the past few days...every day,, YES I am burnt out... BUT I got to do my part in this journey.. even if it means eating the same thing for a bit..BUT sister let me tell you .. I would give my right arm for some spaghetti ((SBDway)) or some salad, and fruit right now.. Thank you for asking..I have no plans for th 4th of July weekend here, It is just to over rated for me,, as well any holiday is IN my opinion.. We are having our Powderpuff ride next weekend.. should be a hoot... Even though no one has done anything that I know of in planning it.. I am not going to be the one doing it all. I made that clear in the Meeting, everyone else needs to do something..LIKE I have the funds to buy the food, condiments and pop etc etc etc.. and I told them this.. We will see , if it is a failure, then there wont be another one.. Take Care

Andrew's on his way over, so I can't post for too long. We're going to go swimming for a bit, and then head over to my Aunt's for the BBQ. I'll try and catch up tomorrow, if I have time.

If not, hope you all have a GREAT weekend!
