That's wonderful, Ammi!!! I am really happy for you as that is a BIG accomplishment.

I am really close to going under the 250 mark, which will put me halfway to OneDerland... can't wait!

Misti - half way to the 100s nearly, I can imagine how fantastic you will feel when you get below 250, not long now!!
Patti - YEP I won the Gazelle Rider, I put in my one and only bid just 20 seconds before the auction ended so nobody had a chance to outbid me Now I just have to be a good girl when it arrives and after trying it out wait til my birthday until I use it properly

Hugs,

Ammi

Hi everybody... just popping in to say hi and that I do read all your posts even if I don't get time to respond individually!

Ammi, yah it will be nice to get under 250 but LOL the way things are going I am not getting there very fast. It has been over a week now since I lost an ounce! But LOL I know better than to say it is discouraging because last time I posted that I got blasted all over the place. (Not in THIS thread though.)

Teahoney, so sorry you had such a bum experience on the scales. Hang in there.. nothing to do but get back up and jump back on the wagon. We have lots of room for you here!

Hope everyone has a good week... we are halfway through it already!!! Blessings to all of you.

Patti - I bet you haven't jinxed yourself, but anyway

Misti - why were you blasted for saying you felt discouraged that you hadn't lost any weight before? It IS discouraging to not lose when you are trying your best, any dieter will know that. I don't get why people would blast you for admitting it

LOL they said it hadn't been long enough to be discouraged and how THEY had gone so much longer without losing, and I needed a better attitude, etc. Sheesh I think I have a pretty good attitude! Anyway, I admit I learned to keep my discouragements to myself. I didn't let it bother me a whole lot, and I have a special friend I can whine to.

Hope you are enjoying TwoTown... that is SO neat!

I've been over a week now with no loss... so maybe today will be the day!!

Hello, Elaine, and thanks for the encouraging words. And oh for sure no one is going to discourage me!! Encouragement is nice but we have to also be able to make it on our own when it is not there! This time next year I plan to be in OneDerland or bust my butt trying!

Blessings to you, and keep up the good work.

LOL thanks! Everyone is starting to congratulate me on the 50 pounds... but alas, it is only 45 and I have been stuck here for a week and a half! Thanks for the extra 5 pounds LOL; I wish it was that simple. Still, 45 is not bad.

Misti - 45 is fantastic, sorry about the extra 5 lbs, still at least I took them off not added them

For some reason I missed your reply to me about the people that slated you for being discouraged before. What they said was ridiculous, no matter how long you don't see a loss for, be it one week or one month it still feels discouraging, and they shouldn't think they have more right to feel that way than you. Stupid people. I am glad you didn't let them get to you, and if you ever want a good moan about not having a loss you make sure you come here to do it

Hugs,

Ammi
