Okay day here. I have a NSV to share...I found a couple of really good deals at Ross today. I bought a pair of Reeboks, like the ones I have now only a different color AND a whole size smaller that fit for $25. I also got a pair of Polo flip flops for $8, they are super cute too bad we can't wear them to work.... And I bought the complete Tae-Bo set on VHS for $5. I've always wanted to do Tae-Bo...I love the heavy bag...but alas it's still buried in the garage and my guys don't seem to want to move the two tons of tool boxes that are in the way for me to get to it or the universal gym...maybe when it gets a little warmer I can convince them to. Anyway I don't know that I will be able to do the Tae-bo tonight, but tomorrow night definately!!!

And, I guess I have to accept that I am stuck on a plateau as well. I mean I haven't gotten a new scale, this one is still wacky and I gain or lose 10-30 lbs overnight, but my measurements haven't changed and I'm not sure what is wrong. I am eating well, and working out...but I definately am not going to make my April 1st goal of 10% of my SW. I'm a little dissappointed about that, but...that just means I have to work harder to reach the goal. I keep saying I need to schedule my workouts so that I do different things, vary up the workouts throughout the week, ect. I haven't done that yet. And I need to get back to journaling and reassessing my goals every week I haven't done that in a while. I think that will bring things back into focus for me. That's my goal for this week...make an exercise schedule, journal and reassess my goals.

And, on another note...I either had a tummy bug or food combining works LOL I'm not sure which but my tummy tolerated salad today so YEAH!! I couldn't live without salad.

Ammi--hugs. It's wonderful to see you back. What kind of phone did you and Darren get? I don't personally have a cell phone but I think it's fun to see the functions on them all LOL each one is a little different, ect.

I had one thing to say about wearing "summer clothes". Although I don't often wear shorts in public, I do wear tank tops almost exclusively during the summer (except at work now because last year they instituted a dress code...but MAN last year I got a killer tan because of tank tops and taking the kids to the play ground every day LOL.) I came to terms with my horrid arms long ago, and although I don't like them I accept them and wear the clothes that I am comfortable wearing. If someone else doesn't like them, that's their problem I didn't ask them to look at me, and I don't expcet them to. I live in TX, where even t-shirts are too hot in the summer.... And I did buy a swimsuit last year I think it was, because we had a little pool for the girls. I don't think I would go in public now wearing a swim suit, but I'm fine with wearing it in our backyard LOL. I don't know, I didn't read the original post about it, but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in the mix.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow!!

Man, it's hard to keep up with these threads! I love it though. You all are fabulous and I am so enjoying reading your posts. It also makes me happy to know there are so many dog (and cat and horse) people here. Animals rock! And so do the people who love them.

voodoo - Your idea to have Maryanne's neighbor reported as a peeping tom made me bust a gut laughing. You are so funny, girl!

Violet - sorry you've been struggling with the food. I can totally relate. I can only reinterate others' advice and say try not to beat yourself up and just move on from here. (Now if I could just take that advice myself too I would be in great shape ) And, by the way, your posts always make me laugh too. You always have such a funny way with words. I really enjoy reading your posts.

Kayley - I am a little late on this, but way to go breaking into the 200's!! And you did it with AUTHORITY too!

Crocket - bottomless pit = me too! I feel ya, girl!

Wish I had time for everyone but am still having a hard time keeping up!

As for me, I am wiped out. Have been working so hard trying to get it all done so I can have next week off. And tonight was my ESL class. (I volunteer as and English as a Second Language teacher on Wed. nights). Normally I love it, but I was tired when I got there and I just couldn't get into it. I tried as hard as I could but I know I didn't give them as fun a class as they are used to. I feel bad about that. But, at least I was there. And hopefully they still learned even though it might not have been as entertaining.

I am struggling with staying OP in a big way. Trying hard not to give up.

Take care all!
