Sharon, I am so sorry that they put you thru that. I am still thinking about you!

I only have 1lb to lose to reach my Christmas goal! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I was able to fit in 20 mins on the 19th. 15 mins on the 20th and 30 mins today. So I am adding 65 mins to the group and to my total.

4503 + 65 = 4568 mins

Valerie -- I'm so sorry to hear that! But you gotta shrug it off and come back strong. And think: what can you do differently next time?? Can you bring more stuff that doesn't need refrigeration? Or if it's cold where you are, can you keep it stashed in the back of the truck or something? That's gotta be hard!

elmay -- good going! It must be hard to have had to readjust your schedule to accomodate child care -- good for you for getting it in!

ahill -- with one pound to go, are you more motivated to keep on plan for the holidays?? Congrats!

I did 45 minutes on the treadmill tonight. I think that's the longest session I've done! So,

300+ exer-total 4568 + 45 = 4613 minutes!! Let's try to get to 5K!! What do you think??

I really am more likely and motivated to stay OP because I am so close to my goal. However, it is that TOM so I don't guess I will be reaching that goal I wont be to far behind on it though.

I made it to the gym last night again. Child care is actually not too hard since they have a "kids club" at the gym. First time I took Andre there, he cried and begged me not to leave, but now he can hardly wait to run in and play. They've got a lot of neat stuff for the kids including one of those "habitrails for children" setups.

I actually ran last night! Well, to be precise, it might have been jogging and I could only do it for 60 seconds max, but it was something more than walking. I don't think I've run/jogged since I was in my 20's. I got on the treadmill and walked fast for 2-3 minutes, then jogged for 30-60 seconds, and then repeated for 45 minutes! (Plus a 5 minute cooldown). More than anything else I've done, that really gets my heart pumping. I guess moving all that mass up and down is hard work .

Anyway, our new total is 4663 + 50 = 4713!

Have a good day all!
