Morning girlies! Thought I had better update before december ends *L*

Since last time I updated:

300+ exer total - 4098 + 125 my time = 4223

Personal total to date = 305 + 125= 430 minutes

Off to work now!

Sorry everyone but I won't be making my Dec goal, just had a call from the hospital, got to go in at 3pm (UK time) for the operation to remove abnormal cells from my cervix. I was on the cancellation list but I expected more notice than 3 1/2 hours!!!!!
I will join back in as soon as I'm able to, I hope everyone else manages or exceeds their targets, I will be thinking of you all.

Brenda -- congrats on that exercise (and have you lost more weight too? 50 pounds is awesome)

Thanks for your kindness, but guess what? tHE DOC GOT ME UP IN STIRRUPS PUT A SPECULUM IN, WHIPPED IT OUT PUT ANOTHER ONE IN, WHIPPED THAT OUT then said I would have to come back as the size speculum theyy needed was dirty and they don't sterilise there (its a small local hospital) so I have to go back. I AM FUMING!!!! hubby booked tomorrow off, he had to ring in & cancel it, we missed shopping and are both worn out with the stress and worry. The nurse has put an order in for more equipment, she was really nice and sorry but that doesn't alter the fact that I AM PI**ed OFF!!!
At least I can exercise so tomorrow I will do another 30 mins.

Hi all, time to update.

Sharon. I am so sorry that you are having such a tough time. Hang in there. Ok, I took the weekend off. Today I did 70 minutes of water workout. Lots of water jogging and kickboarding.
Group total is 4273 minutes + Dogpal's 70 minutes = 4343 minutes Yeah US. Weigh to go ladies.

30 min walking and 30 min exercise since last post

300+ exer total = 4343 + 60 = 4403

Personal Total - 430 + 60 =490 minutes

And Wyllenn, thanks for noticing I am not going to get that bugger of a lb off this week though! *L* Too much temptation out there Oh well!!

Leanne, dogpal, and Brenda -- awesome! I think I will NOT get cardio in today (but had a great upperbody workout at PT... next month I will start counting those!). We are nearly at 4500 minutes!

Brenda -- Yeah, trying to get that pound THIS week might be tough. I think the important thing is that we all keep trying.

What are people's exercise plans over the holidays? I'll be traveling and just don't know what I'm going to fit in! I hope I don't fall down on my goal!

Hi guys,

I will be traveling too and my plan is to walk in place in the hotel room for at least 10 minutes each day except on Christmas Day when we are sharing our hotel room with my two sister in laws. I know it isn't much but it is something. I swim tomorrow and Thursday and should have another 130 or so gone off my total minutes by them.

Sharon/VooDoo - Wow! What a week you're having! I hope things run more smoothly for you - and for everyone - the rest of this fast paced week!!

Not much to add to the total so far 'cuz we ran about 15,000 miles in the couple weeks after T-day, but....

4403 + 50 min = 4453 total minutes

I've done a few trips to Curves, too, but my minute goal this month was for walking only. We're home now, and I promise to hit the TM big time!

Dogpal -- If you get bored walking in place in your room, you could think about walking around just inside the hotel -- explore a little!

Oh, Wyllenn - It was SO NOT GOOD. I started out really strong, exercizing and with the frige well stocked with good stuff, but as it ran out and we ran more miles really hard, things totally fell apart. I was so afraid I'd gained a ton back, but at least all I gained was what I'd lost since I'd gotten back on the truck. Basically I'm holding steady for the month... but the real holiday foodfest hasn't begun yet.

I got to the gym to work with my trainer last night, so another 50 minutes to the goal (no cardio since child care ends at 8:30pm and I couldn't fit it in -- I'll do my cardio tonight).

Our new total as a group: 4453 + 50 = 4503!

For those of you traveling over the holidays and staying in a hotel, you may want to check whether or not your hotel has an exercise room. I've traveled on business twice since starting to work out in September -- one hotel let you go to a local gym on their dime and the other hotel had a workout room with some Nautilus (sp?) equipment, dumbbells, 3 nice treadmills, and 2 nice exercycles.
