Brenda31 - You hit the nail on the head with preparation being the key. If the fridge is full of good choices and the chips are gone, it's so much easier to get thru the tough spots and make good choices!
Miss Jenny - Jennifer - Welcome to the neighborhood! I started at 331 and am doing pretty good. A HUGE amount of my success is from having the support of others like the great gals on this list. I look forward to getting to know you and swapping successes, slips and challanges, like we all face.
In the interest of improving my overall health and taking better care of myself, I had my first mammogram today. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as I've been led to believe! By the way, for anyone interested, the American Cancer Society provides them free if you don't have health insurance - which I don't. Give them a call if you're in that boat.
For the moment I may be a little quiet. We're heading out on the truck tonight, back on the road for who knows how long this time. First stop, Niagara Falls, NY. Second stop, Mississippi. I'll be getting out and walking whenever we stop long enough. I did another 1.2 miles today on the treadmill, and drank enough to float a boat away (70 ounces while at the doctors alone.)
Best wishes to everyone!!
