WATP, 2 mile walk with weights. My new goal is to work out five days a week at least for this next 2X2 Challenge, and I wont allow myself to get weighed either.
Today I actually got off my butt and started walking again (I even jogged a little bit, until I was passing a man on the street and I got really super self-conscious). Came home and did a little bit of yoga.
I really really wish I could go back to the gym, but I can't afford it yet (starting a new job Thursday, though, so in a couple of weeks I should be able to!).
Ugh, yuck I didn't work out today or yesterday...I feel gross...I'm depressed cause I got on the scale yesterday and I was still up those five pounds *sigh*
I thought they'd "go away" with my period. Also I promised myself that I wouldn't get on the scale for two weeks, but I was just DYING of curiosity.
another exercise accountability tool, for those who want it
Hey gang, I plan to keep posting here (I know, Felicia, you're probably wondering, When did she post here? It's been a while...)... anyway, I plan to keep posting here, but I've also created a one-month challenge thread (30-A-Day in May) for anyone who's interested. I'm not trying to get people to abandon Did You Exercise Today?--I think it's a great thread and I hope I'll soon be here daily again--but I wanted something a little more structured that would force me to actually post every day. By issuing the challenge myself, I feel like I've got a responsibility to show up there--and I've promised to do a daily roll call for anyone who joins the challenge. So, if you're like me--if 30 min/day is an achievable goal that you're not currently achieving--if you want even more accountability--if you need a jump start on activity--feel free to join me.
I did the advanced aerobic class yesterday and the water walking class today. The water felt like trying to push through Jello But that's my week so far. Not sure what I'll do tomorrow, I'll let you know what I decide.
