Hi all... feeling a bit better, throat is not as sore so that's good. Just need another day or two to rest up and allow my body to do it's job kicking butt on those sicky bugs in me.

I wanna sign up for the roll call, but I dunno what I really weigh. Techinically I weighed in at 354lbs (4lbs down) but because I have been sick, I haven't been eating much. So I am not sure if I gonna gain that back once I get back my health. I'll do it anyways though...

I'm Bbbbaaaccckkk!

Joyce: I may see if I can catch Sideways, but probably by myself. Not sure Honey would like it and I've picked enough screwy movies that I've made him watch with me. I do enjoy going as of an afternoon and having some private time. I just don't do it often. I really enjoyed Under the Tuscan Sun that way!

Terri: "hope they are wrong" They already are. Snow was supposed to start coming down at 7:00. Hasn't started yet. We were supposed to get 6"-8", now it's 1"-3". Weathermen are NEVER right!!!

Leanne: I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time lately. Surely with your thesis finished, your children happy and your weight coming down, sounds like you need to focus on THOSE positive things to get through your days. [[[hugs]]]

SueMarie: You start at the "technically" weighed amount and go from there. You probably will gain some of what you lost from being sick, but don't forget that you have 2 weeks. Some of that 4 pounds was for REAL. Try not to focus on the "I don't know if I can" thoughts and go with more like "2 pounds in 2 weeks? NO problem!" You'll be amazed at what a difference your thoughts make.

Well, I waited until midnight so that I could be the first to wish Esmaraude a Happy Birthday. Soooooo, Esmaraude, this one's for you:

Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday, dear Esmaraude!
Happy Birthday to YOU!!!! And many more!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

I'm off to bed and all caught up. See you all later. Love ya bunches!

Happy Birthday Esmaraude!!! I hope you have a great day!

Craftymom - wow! 4 lbs! that's amazing... congrats on the water/food choices - you are doing great!

Thin ... you sound like you are having a lot of furniture woes! The dishwasher and the mattress. I went through a time a couple of months ago when everything blew up at the same time - boy it was expensive and used up all the money I had put aside to move Now it's not sure whether I'm getting work at the uni, the kids don't want to move but it looks like we are going to be forced to so I can find work, and I don't have the funds to move anyway. It's so frustrating because it feels like I've wasted a lot of time getting my undergrad degree and honours over the last 5 years. Actually - my health/weight is about the only thing that is going right at the moment! At least I have that! Anyway, I hope you are getting the right amount of snow - not too little and not too much! Its -hot- here and I'm sitting here in a summer tanktop and can't imagine it being cold enough to snow!

Terri - I can't even imagine fitting into size 18 jeans at the moment. That's wonderful! What an achievement!

SueMarie its good to hear you are feeling a bit better. Don't forget to be kind to yourself

GrannieMary I hope you are feeling a lot better.

I know that's not everyone but the kids are needing to be fed before they turn into monsters,

Leanne

good afternoon ladies,
well it's another week. thank God for that. i get to start a new chapter in out incredible weiht loss journey. how did all of you do over the weekend? did you stay on your plan? did you reach your goals? if so how did you reward yourselves? other than food of course. what is the 2x2 or was the 2x2? i might be interested if someone could explain it please. i lost another 4lbs this week. sticking with the water, healthy food choices, getting blood sugars under control. even took a couple of very short walks. something is better than nothing. have a wonderful monday and an even better tomorrow.
kind regards,
mary m
