I've been tricked. !!!! I can't believe I told Thins secret and Lucky said she WOULD NOT fix it for me.
Quote:
Thin: Still waiting on WHAT the desert was you served 2Cute. I need to know so I don’t make it for 2Cute in case she stops by!!!
I guess this is a fine example of how we hear/read what we WANT to hear... not what was said.

Lucky... I WAS LYING !!!! Thin made me a FRESH FRUIT sugar free jello mold.
HONEST !!!!
She did not serve me cheese cake. It is safe to make that for me when I come.

Okay.. now that I confessed ... I can go to bed now.
PS... I HATE CHEESECAKE !!!

Good morning!

We've slept in a little this morning. 8:15 for me is late! We're skipping church as we have to go take the boat out of the water and over to storage for the winter. That should be a treat since we haven't loaded a pontoon boat together. I used to help dad but that was years ago. Its disappointing because its been about three weeks since we had a boat ride because of the crappy weather we've been having. Maybe we can get in a small one so I can see the trees.

I'm hoping for a horseback ride late this afternoon too. Better call the neighbor gal.

Re: Biggest Loser I know they have said that there are doctors present and that everyone wore heart monitors and no one suffered any serious injuries (but there were injuries), I do not see how this can be healthy in any way. I think it had negative connotations all over the place. If you only lost 3 pounds in a week, you didn't do your job to support the team? Two hours of cardio a day for people who are so overweight and out-of-shape? Some skinny chick in your face screaming at you? I'd have to hit her. I'll probably watch it again just to see what they have to do next. But it doesn't inspire me.

Re: Desperate Housewives. I caught it last night about 15 minutes into the show. What is with TV now? They just rerun shows later in the week so they don't have to come up with other new shows? I'm not sure I thought it was that funny. Actually, I thought it was a little disturbing. I quite understand the kid with the gun when he opened the front door. Which I gathered had something to do with a mother being dead. Missed the first episode. I'll probably tape it tonight to watch later.

Pumpkin cheesecake can be made in a healthier form!

Thin, I got the pumpkin cookie recipe from foodfit.com. Supposed to be a healthy version. They were okay but not what I was looking for. Probably best to not look since what I really want is sure to be loaded with butter and eggs.

Okay, time to hit the shower and get the day started.

Later chicks!

P.S. Does anyone know where you get the chicks with pounds lost thingys that you see other people have in their signature?

Terri... are you talking about the measuring bar ??
You can find them at Tickerfactory.com

Where can we find what you are talking about ?? I haven't seen "chicks" measuring loss.

And I hope you get to take that boat ride. It is a beautiful day here.
My DH has a boat he has not put in the water for 2 years now.
I am of no help to him... and it is more work than fun for DH to take me.
Getting in and out is HARD on me. I soooooo miss going to the lake.
I guess we will pay to store it ONE MORE YEAR.... hopefully next summer I will be thinner and more flexible.

I have to mention for just a sec ....
OU WON !!!

Talking Good Morning Ladies

Hiya,

Thin, I have to hand it to you...you are the Queen of personal replies! I can only aspire to how thorough you are!

Well, slept until 9:30 am and now DH is off to work until 7 pm He fell asleep at 10 pm last night on the couch while we were watching the game so I sent him to bed. I, of course, stayed up for the postgame show and then SportsCenter on ESPN so I got to bed at 1 am. Oh, well. It was sooooo worth it!

I spent the better part of the day yesterday rearranging, cleaning and hoeing out my son's room. I told him a few weeks ago that I would do it if he didn't mind my rearranging things. I really like it and he has a ton more space. It also looks more like an 11 year old's room. It turned my hair gray to find some of the stuff behind his bed and dresser that had accumulated...old bits of donuts and other unidentifiable food , broken toys, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, unwashed clothes...it boggles the imagination.

Well, guess that's about it. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. I am contemplating rearranging the living room now that I created magic in Shayne's room. I'll keep y'all "posted"...

Terri: You can either use this link : http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/imag...nds/chick5.gif to put it in your signature (just change the number of "chick5.gif) in increments of 5 to put how much you have lost ie. chick20.gif). Or you can find it in the avatar area of your User CP.

Hope that helps I saw one of the mods explain it in another thread

I'm a dork. I found them here on 3FC under "pounds lost" avatars. I'm just a few pounds shy of this one.

Thanks CD - we were posting at the same time.

Default Just A Quickie

Hi all,

Just a quick little note before I am off on another adventure today. Friday night was bowling, yesterday was shopping and hiking around a lake. Oh my goodness. I think my hunny is trying to kill me. I am so sore.

Terri, thanks for posting the recipe. That sounds so good. I hope you get your boat ride.

Andria, I agree with everyone else.

Thin, sorry about confusing you with someone else. I will try the window thing you mentioned.

Well I am off on another adventure. Talk to you all soon.

Hi All,
Sitting here with l'Oreal LB 02 cooking on my hair so i can be a blonde again (for 4-6 weeks). It makes me feel lively to have blonde hair, as i was a brunette all of my life until the gray moved in. I kept dark brown until the roots drove me to distraction, then went yellow. Typical move, but I like it now.
I spotted the Greek meatballs, thanks for posting it, I have all of the stuff to make it...yum!
The Grandkids just came over, Mom shops on Sunday and one of the 4 goes with her, we get the rest. DH is telling them that they can't have both of the TVs in the house as he has to watch NASCAR. They are 2 and 4, guess who is winning?
It's 61 today, cool for this time of the year. We can still go to the lake unsually until mid-November. We had a small boat for awhile, but all of the tinkering and being left out in the lake to row back when the engine died was a deterent. Plus all of the blue smoke while we were motoring down a peaceful waterway was the pits! So we sold it.
Now we float on air matresses.
I have to go wash this off my head, DH is waiting for "all of your hair to fall out" I hope he isn't holding his breath

I also have to find a pool to excercise in, so off I go to the YWCA website to check for local pools.
Love to all for a happy and safe week!

Hmmm... I might have to try that. My hair has been getting lighter and lighter. I started dying it red, but now I have went back to a more brownish color, maybe I will have to try this blonde. I wonder how it would look on me with my freckles & green eyes

I am doing this post reply thing. This seems to be soooo much easier.
Well back to doing what I was doing. Oh yeah, Packer Game.

Would someone who has met me in person tell the that I'm really a nice person? Actually a bit shy and reserved.

Its been another great day. We got the boat out of water. Not without a lot of near tears from me and wanting to cuss from DH. It was so windy over at the boat ramp and I had trouble getting the blasted trailer backed in straight. A very nice guy finally helped. He gave me a tip and I backed it in just like I needed. I did get a little boat ride in as I was the one to drive it from the dock over to the other marina's ramp. Just gorgeous.

A little nap while watching the Chiefs game. I even did 30 minutes of aerobics.

The neighbor gal and I just got back from a horseback ride. That was fabulous. We rode through several bean fields and then back through the woods. Both horses did very good and no one acted bad. That's always a bonus. The sun on our faces felt so good. I would have liked to ride longer but she had to get to church. We're going to have to start earlier so we can ride longer. But still it was worth it.

Later this evening, I'll walk the dog for 30 minutes. That should be good for the day.

It has felt so good to have two days of sunshine and nice fall weather. Does a lot for the soul.

Time for din-din!

Have a great evening!

Hi Lovely Ladies!
So much to read and catch up on. I honestly haven't read the past few days worth, but I wanted to at least pop in and say hi! It's been a fun weekend of running errands, putzing around the house and playing on-line games with friends. I have tons to do at work the next 2 days and then I head out to Williamsburg, VA on Wed morning. Food has not been great, exercise has not been great, but I am no whining --- it's my own fault and I am the only one to blame for it!

I hope you are all well. As always, I think about you all everyday! I'll talk to you more soon.

Love Ya,
Barb

Arrow 2 for 2 and off to bed

Hiya,

Just a quick post to say good-night. My boys just took Game #2!!! Now it's on to St. Louis. I'm hoping the boys can take at least one game there so we don't have to come back to Boston "having" to win the last 2 games. I am just so darned excited and happy for my team!!

Hope everyone had a great evening and have a good start to the week tomorrow. Nighty-night!
