Thin... thanks for starting our new thread.

What a nice surprise I had this morning. I figured the kids would be tired and grouchy all morning.. but to my surprise they were in great moods. We had a wonderful morning... they ate like a couple of horses for breakfast and lunch. They cleaned up their messes before naptime. ... and they went willing to sleep at 1:30pm for their naps. Ahhhhhh what a relief.

I think I may try to get a few zzzz's myself. Just wanted to share the good news.

2 Cute- glad to hear the kids weren't grouchy for you. Hope you have a nice nap. Thin- you started a new thread, so where's your post? Just want to report that I did the full 20 minutes on the treadmill today. Lunch was good and op. I've also been drinking my water. I've been to the bathroom enough times today that's for sure. For those of you who are going the low carb route, the Carb Smart ice cream bars are absolutely delicious. I think Breyers makes them. They have only 3 grams of carbs and taste just like a regular ice cream bar. There is also a low carb ice cream made by them as well. I haven't tried that yet, but I just might have to. Where is everyone else today? I hope there are more posts later on. I still haven't gotten any advice on downsizing pics, so I'll ask again in case anyone missed it. I tried to post a pic on the picture page and it said my file was too large. Anyone know how I can make it smaller?
Well I'll be back later on.

Today has been officially cancelled by me. LOL

Well, today was a total PMS day. I have had mega cramps and am mega tired and since the kids were home from school and killing me, I didn't exercise. I ran some errands including my son's parent-teacher conference, came home, watched a movie, did some reading, and ate chocolate and strawberries. So needless to say it was not a great food day. Still got in all my water though . Tomorrow is a new day. Better yet, tomorrow the kids will be in school. YAY!!! I'm going to drop their butts off, come home and ride the bike, then shower and run some more errands. That's the plan anyhow. LOL

Tina: Sorry to see you go, but as everyone else has expressed, you have to do what is right for you. No hard feelings here. Good luck to you.

Anyhoo, I'll talk at ya all later,
Jen

Jen- looks like we were both posting at the same time. Sorry to hear about the cramps. Aren't they the worst? Ah the joys of womanhood. Hope you have a better rest of the day. Good for you for getting all of your water in.

Can't believe it. I went to PM a message to Michelle cuz I saw her on and lost the big huge post I had been writing for the past hour.

Anyway, to everyone: I love you, but I'm not rewriting it all now.
Suffice it to say:
If you deserved a "congrats", I gave it.
If you deserved a little "sargent", you got that.
If you deserved a "pick me up", I offered it.
If you deserved a [[[hug]]], I gave that too.

Tina: I will truly miss you as we all will.
Joyce: Glad you liked the recipe. I know you'll love the apple salad too.
Michelle: CONGRATULATIONS on the new job. That's awesome!

Gotta go. Oh damn. I also posted resizing instructions for Jen. Ok, quickly, I use Microsoft Photo Editor. I find it by going to my "start" menu and going up to programs and it's under Microsoft Office Tools. (of course, if you don't use Microsoft Office, or you don't have your computer set up like mine, you may not find it there. ) Anyway, Open the program, open a file and get your photo into the program. Then choose "image" from the top toolbar. Go to "resize". A window will come up and you should pick "pixels". You adjust the number that appears in the box until the final picture is small enough to attach on the site. You're gonna have to play with it because I wrote down the numbers I use and I'll be darn if I can find it. But just downsize it, and save and then try it. And if it's not small enough, downsize it again and try again. Sorry, that's the best I can do.

Now I'm really going.......

Super MichelleK That will be great working in a health club!

I don't have time to post more, just sneaking a peek at work!

oh yeah, Steph, where do you have your pic's stored? are they on a webpage, your hard disc, or somewhere else? If they are on your hard disc you have to have a picture editing program such as Microsoft PictureIt, Photo Shop, Paint Shop Pro, etc. Pull your picture into the program anc click on the "Image" tab and you will find something to the effect of the size of the image. Click on that and it will pull up the current size it will be in something like 325 x 275 just pick on one of them and change it like change the 325 to 162.5 and the 275 should change automatically. if not change it to a resonable size too (if you half the first number half the second as well so it would be 162.5 x 137.5) then rename the picture in the small size and you should be good to go.

If you save your pictures on a commercial website (I use villagephotos.com) They give you directions on the site as to how to resize them. I hope this helps.

Hi Everyone!
It's been a great day here - work was okey-dokey, nothing exciting. I came home and hopped on the treadmill - YEP! That's 4 days of exercise in a row and 8 of the past 9 days! Food was good - just finished journaling the day - just under 1500 calories -- may go a little over because I am thinking of the Hot Cocoa I have downstairs (the recipe that is on the message board) but that's only another 40 calories!

DH is on is way home from another late night at work so I am trying to get this in quickly so we can spend some time together....

Who are my Survivor Pals - Thin, Terri, Kat??? Anyone else??? I am so excited that it's back! I had a hard time staying awake last night, but I will watch the encore tomorrow night to catch the parts I dozed through.

Terri - Sounds like you had a fun, fun weekend. Bummer on the movie going out!!!

Syn - WOW - Great loss! CONGRATS!!! Keep up the good work!

Tina - You have to do what is right for you!! I am going to miss you dearly, but I am happy for you knowing that you have gotten to a good place and are doing well!!! I do look forward to the occassional pop in here to let us know how you are!

Mary - Good Job on the 2 pounds gone!

2cute - What a night you had!! Did I say something about wanting children?

Steph - Great to see you back!!! Hope you day ended as well as it began! Good Job!

Susie --- Wow, another big loser! WAY TO GO!!!!

Jen -- Sorry to hear it was a rough day!! I know what you mean - I feel myself becoming very iritated and the PMS coming on! Yikes!! Tomorrow will be a great day for you! Don't let one bad day throw you off track!!

Michelle -- Congrats on the new job!!! And, I am happy for you that your Patriots won!!! (since it wasn't my boys!)

Lucky - Thank you for the happy thoughts!

A big Hello to anyone I missed. DH just got home....catch ya later!

Good evening ladies!

We started out with a little snow this morning but it turned into nothing. I got my nails done on the way home. I got home to DH having a crisis of faith about our church. I have to admit that the church is going off on a direction that we're not sure is for us. I did get away to get on the spinner - got 42 sweaty minutes in. Woohoo!!

Barb - You betcha! I'm so excited to see Survivor back. Good old Richard - naked right off the bat. When did Jenna turn into such a B? Rupert turned into a liar already. Are you still doing WW?

Michelle - I'm so happy for you getting the job! Good luck on the exams.

I'm going to have to give up on this post. DH is still going and its too hard to concentrate.

Good night!

Good evening ladies. This will be short and sweet. I want to go shopping early in the morning so I am going to FORCE myself to bed by midnight.

I had my first attempt at buying on ebay today. I LOST. Grrrrr
We are looking for a dress for the candle lighter. We found the PERFECT dress ... but got out bid. They did not have one of those "buy now" options. It is no big deal ... it does not have to match exactly to the bridesmaids ... but it was new and fit perfect. She tried on one at the bridal store in the same size. NEW in the store was about $150. NO WAY !!! This dress was listed as NEW and just a clearance item. We are also watching for a dress for the flower girl too. Tomorrow I am going to some wedding resale shops. I have high hopes.
We told the flower girl she gets her dress when the swimming pools open again so she has a way to understand it will be awhile. LOL

MICHELLE !!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
I am soooooooo happy for you.
When do you start ??? Is this the job you have to drive farther for? What will you be doing ???

Barb... Last night brought back some negative memories for me and raising my kids. When I felt helpless I always turned to food. Unfortunately I fell back into my bad habits and found my stress relief in food again. It was a real eye opener. And trust me... I was stressed. My granddaughter does not talk very clear and she would get sooooo mad at me when I did not know what she was saying to me. We were BOTH stressed. LOL

Speaking of Lucky..... Lucky speaks. I sure miss you... I wish you would say just a little more. LOL

Okay... I owe more replies again... but my time is up. I have to get going. There is a dress out there waiting for me. If anyone knows of a size 10 amethyst bridesmaid or dressy dress...or a size 4 flowergirl dress let me know.

Hey everyone

I'm up way too late, but didn't want to fall behind on reading.

I zoomed in to Curves this morning on my way to work so I could get a real WI number. I was sooooo relieved to see myself back down to exactly where I was 2 weeks ago! Problem is, those are the same numbers I was at 4 weeks ago as well... And within 1/2 a pound of December's WI. Will someone pull out the for me?! Maintaining is nice, but I'm in this game to lose!

Two days now of journaling all my food, even if it was painful to admit sometimes. I drank all my water today, plus I went back to Curves after work and did my exercising.

DH is reminding me that I need to be up at 6, and it is after midnight. Ugh. See you all tomorrow!

Andria

P.S. Tina, I don't know if you are going to see this, but I wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful support you have given me. It has meant so much. *HUGS*
