Good morning! I'm so happy today is my last day of work until Monday! I spent most of yesterday feeling terrible (I have a myriad of GI problems, and I'm thinking I may have a dairy intolerance) so it felt good today to get up and work out. I just finished breakfast (dairy-free BRAT diet, just to see) and so far I'm feeling okay.

Cindy Hope you get to enjoy time with your sister and side of your family for Thanksgiving!! Eating may not be 100% perfect for you right now, but hey you are moving in the right direction and that is more important to recognize...Baby steps

Mae It felt great for me too having the rest of the week off! I got off work at 1:00. Sorry to hear about all the GI trouble, it can be rough. I delt with some of it before I started losing weight and oddly enough I haven't really had problems since which is kind of weird to me. Hope it all works out for you honey! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Work was an easy day. I got caught up on a few things and paid my bills lol...Then helped with the Christmas decorations for the office. Then my boss took me and the other 2 girls in the office with her son and one of the other girl's two kids to this Japanese place across the street for lunch. She also gave us our Christmas bonus so we could start on our Christmas shopping. I got $300 this year DH and I don't usually put up a tree because we are usually out of town at Christmas, and we don't exchange gifts anymore. Just because it's easier for us to go shopping together and if we spend money on something we would want we try to get something both of us would like since we hardly ever have money for any type of gifts.

I'm getting prepped for Turkey day. Went ahead and pre-boiled some eggs for deviled eggs and I'm making "the pie" . That's DH's word for the apple butter pumpkin pie. It smells so good in here with that going in the oven and this cinnamon chai spice wax melt going. Makes it really feel like the holidays in here.

Trying not to let it be too late of a night for me. DH and I want to get up early so we can have a little morning to enjoy time with each other before we pack up the stuff we need to bring to my grandma's and get cooking. We've been cooking for my mother and her going on 3 years now for Thanksgiving. Should be fun because A: we like to cook and B: we don't have to eat someone's bad cooking, and C: we aren't very social so we get to stay in the kitchen for most of the day lol. My mom's man friend is coming and his roommate so there will be more than just the 4 of us this year.

I haven't shared a photo of myself in awhile and I felt really pretty today at work so I snapped a picture: https://www.instagram.com/p/-hfkt4J3...sameatsclean26

Off to check "the pie" Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday. Pretty proud of my food decisions yesterday (tasted almost everything but kept my portions small) but I still ended up feeling pretty bad, just because I don't eat many rich foods anymore. My sister and I donated blood this morning, and then did a tiny bit of shopping. The weather was too gross to stay out long! Lots of rain and temps around 40 degrees the whole day.

Hope you all are doing well.

I have been sick for the past four days but hoping it is going away soon. Three more weeks of work until vacation, yay!

Nothing else to report yet
