Default losing the larger me

Hi all I just thought I'd say hello seen as I'm going to be in the 300+ catogory for a while. My names Amy, I'm 29 next week An artist and I have three children. Two boys and a baby girl. I've been big my whole life spent my whole adult life on fad diets. But I feel like now is the time for me to begin that long journey to my ideal weight. This is my second week of weight watchers, in my first I lost 6lbs and weigh in is tomorrow. Which I'm actually looking forward to shockingly enough. My goal for September is to lose a stone so hopefully I'll be able to tick a few more pounds off. I'm planning to check in most days to keep myself on track. And pick up some helpful pointers on the way. Please feel free to follow me on my journey.

Welcome Amy, I'm Ann. That is great news that you already lost 6lbs--way to go! I know what you mean about being excited to weigh yourself. When you're following your plan, hopefully the scale will show you a reward!

I have 3 children too, two boys and a girl. But mine are much older than yours. 21,20, and 15. I too have been a yo-yo with my weight my adult life. Being 45, I need to seriously take care of myself, I want to see my grandchildren.

I'll look forward to chatting here as we are on the same journey!

I'm a happy bunny today. I've lost 5lb this week Overall 11lb which brings me closer to my first stone goal. I'm sure every week is not going to be as easy as this one has been. But having my hubby fully on board has helped to much. We're enjoying planning all the meals together and I eat properly in the day because I'm looking forward to cooking for us in the evening. Next week is going to be a little more challening, we,re going out for our anniversary tonight. Tomorrow we have a 40th birthday party to attend and next Tuesday's my birthday. I'm gonna try my best to stick to my points. But hubby has free range on my birthday which makes me nervous.
Tonight we're going to Zizzi and I've already worked out what I'm having so that I don't over eat. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to eat before we go and I don't drink so that's not an issue. Just gonna have to have will power on my birthday and eat a lot of 0 point veggies the rest of the week.
Hello Ann I'm glad someone else is sharing the same journey as me. My children are 6 4 and 4 months so a little bit younger yes lol but my 6 year old acts like a teenager already.
All in all I'm feeling pretty good, my meal plans are working and the weights coming off. Nothing to moan about

Phew I surrived the last few days. Friday night was actually easy because I'd already worked out what I was eating and had stuck to the 0point diet in the day. But last night was hard, people constantly offering to buy me drinks and food everywhere. But I got through it sticking to salad, a small slice of vegetarian pizza and fruit salad and one diet coke. I am very proud of myself. I even stood on the scales this morning and I've lost half a pound. Which is such a confidence booster. Just got to face my birthday now then I'll have got through one off the hardest weeks I'll have to face.

Yay I've done it, managed to get through my birthday and have a wonderful day without going overboard. I stuck to a salad at lunch when we went out and oh cooked a wonderful three course meal last night. Weigh in this morning to check the damage and I've lost a pound since monday so I'm ecstatic. I have six days left to lose 2lb and I know I can do it. I'm back on pro points and full of will power. The best thing about yesterday was clothes shopping. I've dropped to dress sizes

Yesterday was so hard. Woke up to totm Made the mistake of weighing in and I'd put 4lbs on which I knew was down to totm but still upset me. I then had a weeks worth of leek and potatoe soup spill all over the floor and services when my liquidiser decided to crack. And then I got a phone call to tell me my grandad is terminal with lung cancer and has a few months. I only lost my Nan 4 months ago two days after my little girl was born. I felt so incredibly down last night. Thank God my hubby took control of the kitchen and stuck to the meal plan. Cause I was ready to order a feast and drown my sorrows. I knew there are going to be hard days but I never thought I'd loose both grandparents in the same year.

Default 2lb off losing stone number 2

Hi all I thought I'd just check in. The last three weeks have been so busy. I've been doing 1and a half hours of work out dvds six days a week while sticking to my meal plans and the weight is dropping off. I'm only 2lb of losing my second stone which means a new trollbead yay. There's been a lot of ups and downs over the last few weeks but it feels good to know I am in controle and not instantly turning to comfort eating. Hopefully next week's weigh in will bring me in on target and I can set a new challenge.
