I just want to tell you that you are a woman after my own heart Giddy Bang Bang! Now I'm a bit bougie but I feel so much like you do. My list (thanks to your awesome thoughts!) is below. I struggle SEVERELY with motivation and because, like you, so few rewards appeal to me, it's hard. I haven't come up with a list like you have yet, but I'm working on it! Thanks again for saying this. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that struggles finding "rewards".
1. Weight Loss Equipment, Fitbits, Personal Trainers, Fitness Journals: - Fitness accessories are a necessity for weight loss for me, not rewards. I'm a tech nerd so I already have fitness watches and I have a gym membership ( I never use lol) so why would I get those as rewards lol? I want the tools to get the weight off and if that requires buying something, so be it.
2. Accessories, purses, shoes, hats, jewelry, etc - As mentioned, I'm a bougie girly girl and am my partner is even worse. We already own an entire stores worth of accessories so really don't need em lol!
3. Spa days, high end bubble baths, mani pedis, massages, facials, makeup, getting hair done, etc - Now one caveat to this, my hair is done by a pro colorist and is purple hombred into blue so I do my regularly scheduled appts. to keep up. Otherwise, I don't like mani/pedis, spa days. any of that. I also don't like random people touching me so I'm good on these.
4. New books, take a class, find a new hobby, hiking, etc - I travel for business and am pursuing a master's degree. I have a couple hobbies in Seattle Mariners baseball and World of Warcraft. Between all that, I don't have time.
5. Food rewards - I'm anti food rewards.
6. Trips and nights out - Whilst I do have SOME spare monies, that gets spent on our season tickets to the Mariners. Those are our going out nights. If we want to take a trip, we are going to take it no matter what. I would NEVER gate taking a vacation around a weight loss goal. Take that vacation. Take that day trip. You should never deprive yourself just because you didn't hit a goal. I don't like that thinking.
What are my rewards? I don't know. People stare at me (again I have purple and blue hair lol) no matter what so people not starting at me isn't a motivator. I'm also a bit antagonistic so I kinda like glaring back :-P I just don't know right now. All I know is I want to be in better shape to live a better life and that's my reward...I guess.
