hey, so, please please do some research on this- but from what i have read (fairly extensively, BUT not a medical opinion) i know people that are fairly obese (i'm not sure of your height- but... assuming...) i know that in that case people are put on medically supervised extremely low cal diets (600-800) and you have enough "in you" to keep your body going.
i know i really over simplified that, and please take it with 4-5 grains of salt, but i think that if you're not hungry, you're okay, BUT it is not sustainable. from a long time (and a 100 lb weight range) i can tell you that i have days where...i eat 800 or so, because im not hungry/too busy/etc.
i have other days where i eat my allotted 1800, and still lose.
i think if you're not hungry, eat whatever satisfies you- when you start getting hungry, don't restrict because that's what leads to a binge/unsustainable weight loss. this way you won't regain it back because that's just your body having it's own momentum. it's a tough call to make, but it's a hunger cue that you learn from- although eating over 1200 is definitely healthier.
i can guarantee you can lose on 1800.
