Well, yesterday I ventured out to buy some new clothes (esp pants) for work, as mine no longer fit.

Fortunately, there is a Lands End Inlet near us, and they had pants for $7.50 each!! I bought 7 pair!

Unfortunately I bought them in sizes 20 and 22. Last I checked I was an 18 inching to 20.

So. I want to have them be too big -- soon!!

I did ok overall in aug considering all the stress with deaths and such. Now its a new month and time to get really serious and lose some weight this year. I am with heather on needing bigger pants. My 18s are too tight and I need 20s. I dont want to need 20s!!!
I had a great time with my precious granddaughters but am exhausted. I need to spend time cleaning the house tomorrow and cooking for my party on tuesday. I am excited about the new products 31 is carrying and cant wait to see what I earn for free. I just cant decide what to cook. I would love to do finger foods but thinking sweets might be easier.
Its a rainy day here in ky and it was perfect for making a pot of chili. Hubby and son were thrilled!

Hard to believe summer has came and went so quickly this year. Time to get moving and get some weight off before spring.

This is the 4th anniversary of my weight loss journey and I have kept off 48 lbs. Time to get that number going in a different direction. I'm very proud of that loss and feel like I'm in the right place for weight loss once again.

Whats up?

Carol, good thinking! Yesterday I ate very little and this morning when I stood on the scales (shouldn't have) I was up a lb. What the hey? Crazy scales!! Oh, and yes 48 lbs gone is to be applauded.

Deb, summer is not gone in my area. I am going to be glad to see cooler weather.

Heather, Don't you just hate having to buy bigger clothes again? I keep all sizes. I know the sensible thing to do is to lose the weight and be able to wear the same size. Wishful thinking?

Have a wonderful day ladies. Be the best you can be. Ruth

Carol -- Happy anniversary!! Wonderful to keep off so much weight!!

I have been having a lot of gastrointestinal issues lately, so calories are down, but not for a good reason!

It was a pretty good weekend for me except that yesterday I let myself get sucked into eating a small pnut butter and chocolate ice cream cone. Luckily I only crave ice cream about 2X a year so I enjoyed it and put it behind me (probably figuratively AND literally).

Hoping for a really OP week. I've got to get past this 2 or 3 POP days then crash crap I've been doing.

You all have a fantastic day. My running around is done and since the dew point's around 70º, Issac's rain is approaching, I'm going to putter around the house and try to stay cool.

Well hi ladies. Children are back to school today so I am going to be able to get myself into a decent routine. Walked my usual 2.5 miles without my 7 year old sidekick and managed my best time yet! Still clearing up and sorting out after the leak into our cellar so won't quite be able to get into my exercise swing til next week.
My right knee is settling down after ( I think) tearing some scar tissue which is a remnant of my injury in Iceland...thought I was going to have to resort to a trekking pole again for my walks but I think I have managed to avoid that! Half a pound off 70lb lost at the moment...next weigh day is Sunday.
Have set myself a challenge at the end of the month...to treat myself to a walk up the highest peak in South Wales ( which is to say not very high by US standards.). I did it repeatedly as training for my Iceland trek and haven't been fit enough to do it since. I can't wait!!! I like nothing better than to be wet ( it is usually raining) muddy and sweating in my Goretex!!!

Yesterday was a success - POP with every bite recorded. Very low on my calories - need to change that today. Will hit the pool for an hour of water aerobics tonight. Today is my Friday - need to work a plan for that unstructured at home time.

Stay strong!

I finally feel better!

I wonder how long my diarrhea-induced weight loss will last....

I had a few bad days of stress eating. I am keeping a child that i cant handle. I have been doing my job for almost 30yr and have had some rounders but I cant seem to get this one lined out.
I will eat right today and that will mean having to cook healthy meals.
I really want a few lbs off by the end of the month.

Heather - I had that same horrible bug over the weekend. Good thing about it was only plain chicken breast sounded good when it was time to eat again. Feel better.

I'm off today and will work on some life goal setting and go for a walk - time for ME!

Stay strong!

Heading in the right direction!

Lost another 1.8 so hopefully I'll be back at, or past, 75 lbs (again! ) next week. Only .4 left of the gain to get rid of. I've let this take way too long to correct.

No big weekend plans for me. I might do a one day trip into the Adirondacks next week. Depends on the weather and my schedule.

Just back from the doctor for my wellness exam - no lecture about the weight I found over the summer - just a "you've kept off over 50 lbs, you know what to do so do it, and move every day and you'll feel better physically and mentally." Darned if he doesn't know me! He's smarter than I am so I will heed his instructions.

Stay strong!
