I just responded to a thread in the 50+ group and it sparked an idea in my head. What if we posted pictures we take of ourselves when we're in a moment of joy, satisfaction in an accomplishment, or just plain-ol' feelin' good about ourselves. There are so many images in the media promoting that we have to look a certain way in order to feel good about ourselves. I want to see people of varying degrees of fitness just feeling good about themselves. And please add a note about why you feel so good about yourself when you took your picture. (And I don't want to hear you diminishing your feelings in the moment because you're not dressed for the Hollywood red carpet!)

And this is me, feeling good about myself. I just took a shower to get warm. I feel cold because I'm burning fat! I feel good because I'm on top of my hunger today, for the first time this week. Plus, I felt my shoulder muscles when I was in the shower!

I went and got a haircut today! I got three compliments on it from the time I left the hair dresser (who is in my office building) until I got back to my office.

My sig photo's show how I felt about myself as I progressed. Most of those changes in my expression did not come from being thinner, but because internally, I felt so much better and it shows! I did not realize it until I put the photo's together what a difference there was in my expressions.
