Question Anyone been to Disneyland lately???

I'm going to Disneyland in 3 weeks with my husband and kids and I'm really worried about fitting on the rides. I know it is a rather "fluffy" friendly theme park, but has anyone gone lately and had any issues? I know that the log ride has an extra large seat in the back now, so I'm good on that, and most of the rides I can sit by myself or with my 2 year old who doesn't take up much room. Space Mountain is closed that week for decorations so I don't have to worry about squeezing my butt into that. Anyone have any issues with Indiana Jones?? Or California Screamin? I want to have a good time and I know I will feel horribly embarrassed and it will ruin my trip if I get kicked off a ride so I'm just wondering if I should avoid anything. I'm 5'6"....290lbs.....pretty proportionate, big butt, big boobs.....any info is VERY VERY much appreciated!!! Hope to hear from you guys!!!

Last time I was in Disneyland, I was able to do most rides. I was right at 263, 5'4" tall. I didn't try to do the smaller rides in Fantasyland, and getting in and out of some were more difficult than I would have liked but I was able to go on most of the rides. I did go on Peter Pan's Flight, the Storyland Canal Boats, Splash mountain, Matterhorn, Pirates of Caribbean, Haunted House, Mr Toads Wild Ride, Winnie the Pooh, Disneyland Railroad,Indiana Jones, Jungle Ride, Small World, etc. In CA adventure I loved Soarin', the Grizzley River Run. Didn't go to Toon town in Disneyland, and did't do Twilight Zone tower of Terror or CA screaming in CA adventure. Plenty to do, lots of fun, stay hydrated and enjoy your trip with your little one!!

Thank you for your response! I'm feeling a little better about the rides, I think mostly I'm worried about Indiana Jones.....I don't know how long that seat belt is! lol....I fit in a car seat belt just fine no issues, but I don't know if they are that long....I have seen a few websites that talk about the rides, but I'm still nervous. Ill have to have my husband take a picture of me on every ride and i can post them on the web so anyone going to Disneyland can see just how I fit on the ride, you know? So they can compare.....I think it would be helpful for other people like me who are nervous about fitting.....

you're all a step ahead of me! I'm paranoid to even get on an airplane to go anywhere fun, because I would die of embarrassment if I needed a seatbelt extender (i don't need one in a car, but i haven't been on a plane since i was 3, so no idea how that works.) How much room is there in a plane seat ?

I fly quite a bit, I'm close enough to Disneyland that we drive there, but I go back and forth to KY a lot where my husbands family lives. When it comes to planes it really depends on the company. The worst I have seen in Southwest. I use them though because they are also the cheapest and have no baggage fees. At my highest weight of 296 I didnt need a seatbelt extender. The only time I asked for one was when I flew while I was pregnant. I could have fit the belt without the extender, but i was grouchy and puffy and well very pregnant, lol and I wanted wiggle room. I carry my weight very proportionatly. Everything is equally big, so I could imagine that someone who carries more of their weight in their lower half would possibly need the extender and hopefully you fly with people you know next to you so that you can keep the armrests up for more wiggle room. If you can afford other companies with first class or middle class those will give you more room. A lot of the time we get on and go all the way to the back where people dont want to sit because they get off the plane last and 99% of the time we have the whole back section to ourselves...we each take a row and lay down and sleep the whole flight! So many times you can have more than one seat to yourself on Southwest where they dont do assigned seating....okay sorry I rambled so much but i wanted to give you enough info, lol, and I dont want you to be afraid to fly....its great!

How did your disney trip go? We're planning on going in May. I'm 5'4 280 with a big butt and big boobs. I'm particularly interested in whether or not I'll fit onto california screamin and the tower of terror. I've been to dl before but these rides were not there. Also did you get a pic of you on the rides? I would love to see them.

I went to DL at 275 and 5'2". I was able to get on all of the rides just fine, without a seatbelt extender. It's a lot of fun!

We were in disney over the summer (in Anaheim) I was 5*7, 260 and able to get on every ride I wanted. It should also mention that I carry a lot of weight in the abs, so sometimes bars to hold you into a ride have been a problem for me. They were pretty family friendly overall.
