This might sound weird, but have you gotten checked for STDs lately? I had chlamydia once and I didn't know I had it until I had uncontrollable bleeding. It was the chlamydia that made my body bleed so much (according to the emergency room doctor). Even if you don't think you would have any thats always a good test to get.

I was tested awhile ago, but have not been active since, so I don't think that is the issue. But thanks though! I have officially stopped! For now... We will see how long it will last... Thanks everyone!

I really feel like it would be wise to see a gyn--pick a female one...that is what I have. Keep us posted...

I had a problem of bleeding for over 2years straight and dozen of different birthcontrol. Come to find out I have pcos .Polict cystic ovarie syndrom, dont know how to spell it but the doc will need to do a inner ultrasound and check you ovaries and like mine looked like pine cones.Little cyst that form over your ovaries from bleeding and your body not realsing eggs etc. It can be taken care of by pills to get rid of the cyst and your doc will put you on a birth control to help with the cramping and bleeding.plus like someone else mentioned it could be fybroid tumors.Let us all know what it was and god bless.

Hey everyone. So I went to the Dr today and she said since the pills are working to leave it be for now. She said if it starts again AT ALL I am to come back in and she is going to do another pelvic and an ultrasound. I think this is ok for now. She says it could be multiple things, but given my age she doesn't think it is anything serious. So hopefully everything works out! Thanks!

Red face

I am not giving medical advice, but I, too, tried birth control multiple times by different doctors when I weighed anywhere from 240lbs-300lbs. I would start my TOM within 2 weeks of taking the pill, and it just seemed like I was always having my TOM and always irritable It was only after meeting with another doctor, who told me quite rudely, that I was too fat for birth control! I then went online and talked to another doctor (not online), and was told that some women cycle through birth control faster than lower weight women, and so they either need a higher dosage of birth control, or other bc options.

I say find a good gyno to see what works best for you. It could also be that the bc pill you used had a lower dosage of hormones (some do), and that your body needs a different brand and dosage altogether.

Just an update. I was having a similar problem with my TOM also. The ObGyn put me on BC pills to regulate me and I ended up in the hospital for 10 days with pulminary embolism. I had been on BC in the past and never had a problem before. I know that blood clots from BC pills are fairly rare but if you start to get cramping in your legs see someone right away.
