Default water intake

A few months back we tracked our water intake.I really enjoyed it and it kept me focused on getting in enough water.I know each person varies in the amount of water they drink. I am shooting for a gallon(128 ounces) a day. My kidney dr told me that should be my minium per day. How much are you going to drink??

I've read, more than once, that you need the regular 64 oz of water everyone should drink, and then add another 8oz daily for each 25 pounds you're overweight.

Seems to be helping me so far!

I have such a hard time getting my water in! I do well for a couple days, but I can never stick with it long enough to see a difference. If I could drink enough and stick with it for a while to where I could see a change, then I think that would make it easier to stick with. It's a vicious cycle! I do find that I do better with room temp. water instead of ice cold.

I do drink most of mine thru a straw.I also like it at room temp. I can guzzle 16 ounce bottles though. Try a straw and keep drinking all day long!!!

Question. Is this just pure water your tracking or everything? I know some count like coffee and such as half a serving.

I track only my true water intake but you can count whatever you consider your water.
