Hello, I have been gone at my daughter's house yesterday but managed to stay OP. Even with teriyaki cheeseburgers staring me in the face I was able to stay at my calorie level. It is a lot easier when my two daughters were saying how much they could notice my weight loss, very encouraging. I had a great weigh in on Friday, 4.25 more pounds gone! I am almost into the 200's and super excited about it! Going to clean kitchen today and if I have enough time I will head out to my sewing room, I got a big order for my toys from Australia and need to crank it out.
See ya all!

I have not been online at all this weekend..goodness where was I?

Last night was my friend's wedding...it was truly lovely...although we had way better food at ours. It was a nice time for all.

Dr. appt was OK. MY BP was not scarily high and not as bad as it has been. We had a nice chat about all manner of things, namely my getting off the pill and whether or not it will have an impact on my BP and will I still need the BP meds if I keep on track with WW. I think I am having some less than ideal side effects from the BP meds. The thing I saw on my back is just a cluster of blood vessels and not anything to worry about. I have to go in for blood work and I have an appt. with a genetic counselor to do some pre-pregnancy screening stuff. It all made me remember why I really like my doctor and why I stay with Kaiser.

Nothing else to report here. Trying to sort through some emotional stuff and figure out how to tell DH what has been on my mind and making me so sad and despondent.

We were supposed to go look at an apt. this morning and the leasing agent didn't show. GRR.

Happy weekend....

Julee

My garden is really starting to die back. My sunflowers and sad looking and i tested a head and found the seeds are ripe and plumb. I harvested the head and now have this batch soaking in salt water overnight to roast tommorow. NExt batch is for me without salt...just roasted. I think I have 8 more heads out there each head is about 18" across. I harvested 3 today and have tons of seeds. I have never done this before and its kinda exciting. It will make a nice snack this winter when im bored and want to eat something.
night all hugs

We usually have tons of volunteer sunflowers but this year we only got one. They are the bird kind, not the tasty for humans kind. I love seeing the bright goldfinches on them though. I want to plant a big row of the large headed type with good for human seeds in them.

Wow Debi about the sunflowers!! My grandmother used to grow them, but not sure if they were the human kind or for the birdies only.

My mom left this morning. We had a grand time and wore ourselves out. For 75 yrs old, she has more energy than me!! We bicycled 30 miles over 2 days, saw the movie MamaMia (great flick), shopped until we dropped, went to the farmer's market, shopped more, and played Wii bowling until our arms were nearly falling off. Mom used her credit card so much, the cc company called her to verify it was her using it.. hehe. Ooops. We both spent too much money!

I took a nap and am still tired. Will be going to bed soon!

Luv,
Ratkity

debi -- roasting your very own sunflower seeds sounds like fun!

Ratkitten -- I want to be like your mom when I'm 75 -- that's awesome! (well, not the spending lots of money, unless I'm rich!)

I probably won't be around in the morning, so whoever thinks of it -- start the new thread, okay? Thanks!

Just popping in to say hello. I keep meaning to get back here to post personals and something or other always comes up. Sorry!

I am doing ok, but have a lot on my plate. I hope everyone else is doing well. Hugs for those who need them, and I will check back in soon.

Well.......datadaaaaaaaaa! I have finally broke the 50 lbs lost mark!!! Don't ask me how I did it.......since I haven't really been counting calories!!! LOL but I will take this as a jumping off point and get my butt in gear!!!

I am officially at 52 lbs lost as of this morning!!!! WOOOHOOO!! doing a happy dance!!! LOL

I guess the choices I was making weren't that horrible after all! I think my previous lifestyle of binging at night was what was killing me......at least these past few weeks with my not counting my calories was binge free and I guess my portions were within healthy range and thus the weight loss..............I know that I cannot continue in this manner because I will become to relaxed and it will be too easy for me to justify poor eating habits but, I am thrilled with my weight loss!

Thanks to all of you who continue to post even though some of us are battling that is what keeps us going!!!

Ok now I really must get going and start my day....JUST had to report to all my 3FChickies how on top of the world I feel LOL!!!!
