It's been a few days but I was busy all weekend. Friday was a nice mellow day...shoping date with a friend and then dinner at some other friend's house since their daughter (one of my former youth group kids) was home from school. She will be a Senior in college this year and I just marvelled at how far she has come. She was always heavy, as was her older sister, and somewhere near her senior year of high school she started taking atters into her own hands and joined WW. This was after I had been doing it for a while with success...so she followed along which was cool. In college she got really involved with DanceSport and now between a healthy diet and being super active she is a size 8 and really fit. Unfortunately she probably won't ever get rid of her "wings" and one roll near her waist but she is such a success story all on her own.

Saturday was spent with my wonderful friend who was in town visiting. We had a great day looking around for comfy clothes for her that she can wear through her pregnancy, then Jason met us for dinner and we all caught up. I am planning on going back to Bham in January for her baby shower.

Then last night DH's MacBook went wonky and it turns out he has to reinstall his operating system and do a full backup....so he is with his friend the Mac guru right now doing that and we may or may not meet his parents for dinner later. They just have to understand that the computer is the priority tonight.

I went and got my hair cut (and re cut) and colored and highlighted. I will try to post a picture soon...but it's a great reddish color with gold highlights throughout and I love it!

Next weekend we have a wedding to go to and I am looking forward to that.

Have a wonderful week

Anne -- I wanted to report that I tried your chocolate zucchini cake and it was WONDERFUL!

Well, I actually made muffins because I didn't have the right size pan. And then I didn't have any choc chips so I left those out. I also forgot the vanilla (and I wondered if there should be a little salt?)

Anyway, they were moist and delicious (though I think the vanilla and maybe salt would solidify that) right out of the oven. I'll have to see how they are once they are cool! (I'm restraining myself!)

Heather - just popped in and saw you comments. There probably could be a dash of salt. It wasn't there in the original recipe, so who knows. It's funny that you mentioned muffins. I made some reasonably decent blueberry bran muffins the other week... maybe longer back. There are great except that my non-stick tins aren't non-stick anymore so I used papers. Because they're low-fat it's very tough to take the paper off. I was thinking of making the recipe again and just dumping it into a 9x13 pan and making squares.

Anyway ladies, I'll drop in again next week. Tonight I'm very late getting back to the computer as we had family to dinner. It was a nice evening but now I'm pretty tired... so sleep!
