Default New and re-starting

Hi,
I started back on my journey on Sunday. I am so proud of myself because I went to the gym for the first time in a year last night. I did 20 mins on the treadmill and 20 mins on the elliptical. Its not a lot but at least its something. I am planning on going to the gym this evening to work on some upper body.
I drank tons of water yesterday (#1 problem for me), and ate no fast food (#2 problem), and I snacked on fruit and crackers.

So hey, its just baby steps but I am really happy that I was able to kick my butt in to gear. Now all I need to do is stick with it, because I know that it works when I do.

Ayah - Sorry your thread slipped through my radar before, but

Doing 20 minutes on the elliptical when you haven't been to the gym for a year is great! Don't sell youself short by saying what you did wasn't much. I watch new thin people come into our gym who have to stop using the elliptical after 10 minutes because it is too tough for them.

Isn't it so true that it only works when you stick with it?

Nancy - thanks for the words of encouragement! yes it is so true that it only works when you stick with it LOL!

Ratkity - Thanks for letting me know about the exercise thread. I've posted what I've done so far. Thats a great way to be accountable!
