Sorry I've been gone a few days. Thanks for the coaching, S. Diane!

Welcome, Charlene and Katt!

Charlene--Starting over is exactly the thing to do. It's what I'm about to do, too!

Today is Day 0, yes 0 again, for all my challenges! (I did get 9 minutes of exercise this morning, but I'll have to exercise again later to make it 10.)

Water--at least 48 oz.--starting over
Meds--take EVERYTHING--starting over
Exercise--at least 10 minutes--starting over

S. Diane, you are the queen of the 21 day challenge so far! Keep it goin!

Morning all

Toooo tired last night to post, but today is another day.

Angela . . . hang in there, I'm just glad you're back and great job for the 9 minutes.
Charlene . . . you hang in there too.

Katt: great first start.

I don't know about being the queen of anything except the kitchen . . .
ok, maybe the fridge too, teehee. I guess I get up everyday and think, OK now Diane (yes, I often talk to myself, but they tell me it's OK . . . as long as you don't answer yourself, that would cross the line to CRAZY) today is the first day you are going to do this. You can do it for one day. Even if it's day 8 or day 14. Everyday is Day 1. then I come here and get to put a bigger number. This works for me. I tend to talk to myself a LOT more if I am sore from exercising or seem to want my chocolate . . .

I don't deny myself anything . . . if the chocolate comes I try to ask myself "Is this something you really want or are you bored/frustrated/tired etc. . . if I really want it, I eat it, but just 1-2 squares . . . better than the whole thing. Sometimes I go and do crunches while I'm thinking about it, that's how I get 100 crunches in everyday . . . thinking about chocolate . . . UGH!!! Believe me somedays I want to say: I'll start tomorrow, but why waste the day, so I just do it.

OK, I'm rambling . . . but right now my inspiration is that I've lost 7 lbs, do you know 7 pounds = 28 sticks of butter . . . OH MY GOODESS . . . that's a LOT of butter . . .

so if you "only" lose 1 pound, that is really 4 sticks of butter . . . that's over 1/2 stick of butter a day . . . HUGE

OK, rambling AGAIN . . . getting off my

Results:
Day 17 - water (I think this is almost a habit now)
Day 17 - eat healthy (yes I still have chocolate, but 1-2 pieces, not 3-4 bars
Day 17 - crunches (I actually do abou 200, thinking about the chocolate)
Day 11 - 30 min exercise (I did water aerobics last night, not for me, I got cold) I'm such a baby and I live in Minn.

OK everyone . . . so hang in there and remember, just hang in there!!!

I've been all over the place with these challenges (water, exercise, no sugar, cals in range) and I haven't been here keeping track, so I'm going to call today Day One and restart.

***OMG now there's a PINK birk on my feeder that I've NEVER seen before! Awesome!! ***

Back to the subject, I've been doing pretty good in the big picture, but really haven't been totally right on, like those two pieces of candy I had from the jar at work yesterday - not the end of the world, not a wild binge, but still not within the guidelines I'd like... the guidelines I NEED.

So, for exercise I'm already covered for today... Now that I think of it I know I'm on day 3 for exercise, so I'll just restart the other 3. I'm going to add taking my vitamins, too.

C-ya later ladies! Have a great day, everyone!

Well Ladies,

It seems as if I must start back at day one. Somewhere this week with all the hacking and coughing I lost track of the amount of water I was drinking. I never stopped drinking it, just that I am sure I didnt drink the 64 oz I was shooting for. Hope you all are doing good on your personal challenges. Taker care and God bless.

Renee, I hope your feeling better. I am getting a terrible head cold. I have already had to start over. The main thing is getting up and starting over. Sending you good vibes

I thought I wasn't going to make my water today but I did I have found that I drink more if I have ice in it. I bought a couple of bags of ice from Sonic (just ice no food ) I love their ice, it lasts a long time in the glass and it's small so I can chew it easy.
Where is everyone?

Evening Chickadees

Katt, great job on the water, like Charlene said, ice might help. I LOVE my water ice cold after I work out and in the morning, it . . . I don't know . . . wakes me up and refreshes me. But at night I like it room temp . . . weird, huh??

Renee, glad you're feeling better, well I'm assuming you're feeling better. back . . . being sick sucks . . . there's just no way around it sometimes . . .

Charlene; GREAT willpower . . . I hate going in those stores . . . I was in one today and looked at sooooooooooooo many things I might have picked up 3 weeks ago . . . but no touching for me . . .

I don't know where the others are
ANGELA, VALERIE . . . ollie, ollie umpkin free . . .

Here is where I am at:

Water - Day 20 . . . just one more day (actually this isn't a struggle for me anymore . . .

Crunches - Day 20 . . . this is definitely NOT a problem . . . everytime I want chocolate I do 10 crunches to make sure it is something I want and not just a pacifier for stress/anger/frustration/exhaustion . . . I eat some almost every day, but it is usually 1/4 to 1/2 ounce . . . I have also gotten some that is the 70% cocoa . . . I like it better than regular, the taste just hangs a lot longer in your mouth . . . mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Eat healthy - Day 20 - I almost lost it in that convenience store (Qwik Trip's here) I am doing better than I thought but may need to do this one again along with the crunches . . . neither one is habit yet, but getting close

30 min exercise - Day 14 - I am very proud of this one and am going to get a massage after day 21 . . . (today: 45 min on the eliptical machine and 45 min yoga tape) I think I may end up being a bit of a yoga nut . . . I just feel so calm and relaxed when I'm done . . . <sigh>

OK, so is that enough jibber-jabber . . .

Everyone have a great Sunday . . . Charlene . . . have you ever tried Echinachea (sp) for colds, if I even think I am getting one I put some in my juice (I use the liquid) ASAP, if I catch it right away I usually don't get sick . . . just a thought

Night everyone
