evning everyone,

Angela, GREAT job on the water, don't let the meds and stairs get the better of you. Tomorrow is a new day and you can WIN!!! Besides you are almost to double digits, yeah!!!!

I think everyone jumped ship, come back everyone, we'll throw the life preservers, I promise.

Went to two job interviews today . . . I hate job hunting. One was NOT good, I don't think they were interested in me but that is fine because I have NO interest in working there. The second, was MUCH, MUCH better. I had to meet with the vice-president of the company. Now he is going to set up an interview for me with the GM (general manager) of the restaurant I'll be working in . . . . I'm so excited, it is more upscale, smaller company and everyone I've met has been really nice. Althogh the VP did say that if I was hired as the culinary manager it would be my kitchen and I could run it anyway i wanted . . . hmmmm a little scary since I've worked in the environment where EVERYTHING was already laid in stone . . . challenging, but exciting.

come back everyone, we miss you

S. Diane

Thanks for the cheerleading, S. Diane! Folks will come back, I'm sure.

Good luck with that follow-up interview, sounds like a great opportunity.

I'm doing okay, I guess, despite having been out of town.

Anna, don't work toooo hard, life is VERY short. Let us know how you're doing.

Angela, looks like you and I for now until the others return.

DAY 14 (2/3rds done) H2O, eating healthy and crunches
Day 8 - 30 min exercise

I decided I'm going to weigh myself in the AM . . . still scared but I think I need some kind of concrete sign that I'm moving in the right direction.

Everyone have a great Monday

S. Diane: You've been doing all the right things, so that's a victory no matter what the scale says. Hope the scale is DOWN. I'm going to weigh in the a.m. as well (it's early a.m. here but I haven't been to sleep so I still count this as, um, yesterday). You're doing GREAT on consistency!

Anna: If you've fallen off your challenges, why don't you set one small one and try to just check in quickly on it each day? That way you can be our flawless inspiration!

Here's where I am, as of Sunday.

Water Challenge -- Day 12--success
Meds Challenge -- Day 3--success
10 Minutes Exercise Challenge--Day 3--success

Hi ladies. I would like to join in on the challenges. I just started today and I won't be weighing again until Feb2nd. I don't have scales at home, I weigh at the dr's office. I have been thinking about what to set my challenges at for now.
Water challenge- 8 glasses a day. This is huge for me because I don't drink water. I am sitting here with a big glass and it's almost gone. I'm on my way!
Exercise challenge- 10 minutes a day to get me started. I am disabled and this is going to be really tough for me but I am determined to do it. I have a Gazelle and I think it's going to work out ok.
My weight loss goal for Feb 2nd is 10 lbs.

So today is day One for me. I will check in tonight with results.
