Good morning everyone!

Well, this is something I never thought I'd say on a diet board...I'm eating so frigging much I'm about to pop. 6 times a day they want me to eat AND to eat a certain amount of carbs/protein/fat/veggies at each meal. Blah. They want me to GAIN wt. And they won't let me have chocolate to do it! So not fair!

Lisa: Whoohooo! School is over! Yay! I hope you are getting some rest and getting ready for graduation.

Stevi: Welcome to 3FC!

Lauren: Yep, she's coming from TX. I tried to change her ticket and they want $100! Yikes. I decided to keep it the way it is. She will be here before hand when I have to do the non-stress tests and more frequent appointments. That will be a huge help to me. She can go with us and keep Alex in the waiting room.

Molly: Yep, DH is taking time off too. I may have him take off less while I'm actually in the hospital this time so he can be with me when I go home. The nurses will take care of me in there, and I'll be alone at home. And, hey, NO SLACKING!! Get off those two pounds! (How was that?)

Thanks Karen! I needed that. No Slacking!! I've been good the last couple of days. I just have to remember when I go wi that that's not a license to go crazy for a week! Good idea about having dh home after you come home! That's when you're going to need him there. As long as grandma is there with Alex when you're in the hosp and dh is there when you get home you should be good.

Lisa! You're done. And if I remember correctly, this is your sleep in day! Are you still sleeping? LOL Ahh you deserve it. HOpe you're having a great day you college graduate!! ')

Hi everyone! I just turned 30 last February and am now willing to admit it.

I need a group to join that I can talk to. My hubby's in the Army, so I don't know many people here.

I have been in a plateau for over 9 weeks now and need the motivation to not slack off.

I'm a stay-at-home mom of 2 little boys (4 years and 1 year olds). Other than that I'm pretty boring.

Do you think wearing my heart rate monitor all day to find out how many calories I actually burn is a good idea? Do you think it would be fairly accurate or way off?

Good morning Ladies! Thank you soo much for the warm welcomes. I started posting on a Baby center site helping Mom's lose weight, but it was kinda limited on its members. There are soooo many here. I have to admit I get a little lost at times. My recent weight loss journey started just 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have two boys 14 years and 11 weeks...( yeah I know, Just when you think your done having babies!) I am currently still on maternity leave, I'm not due back until July 1st. I will return to work but only weekends. ( I just resigned as a manager yest! ) My biggest modivators are I sing lead in a rock band and want to be as confident as before up there. And I want my energy back! I was a certifiable SPAZ before my angel....now I'm just mellow....toooo mellow. I could sit and play with my baby all day. We are working on it. I started a work out regimin couple of days ago...( My feet HURT!) So we will see how it goes.

Welcome Brandi! It doesn't hurt to try the monitor. You never know what will work best for you.

Brandi!! Not sure on the moniter...sorry.

Stevi, I am with you on the big age gap in babies. My kids are 14, 13 and 19 mos. Maybe you could go out with the baby and go for walks. That's what I did with my little man. When it's cold (I'm in OH) we go to the mall and now that it's getting nice we walk the neighborhood or go to the park.

Hi Stevi & Brandi, glad to see you made it over here!

Stevi, the girl I work with has 3 girls: 22, 12, almost 2!! I think she's insane! Enjoy every minute with your sweet baby! Sometimes I wish I could be home F/T with my boys...then I remember how unorganized I am as a SAHM!

Brandi, not sure about the heart rate monitor, I've never used one. What kind of exercise have you been doing, if any? Maybe if you just change somethings about your normal routine, or step it up a notch, you'll get off the plateau?

Lisa...are you awake? Did ya' sleep in today?? Are you busy surfing monster.com?!

Lauren - I've tried many different things so far and nothing is working yet. Even my nutritionist doesn't know why I'm not losing. Her answer is that it just happens sometimes.

The rest of the month I am going to do calorie cycling. I took the WW Wendie Plan and changed it to calories each day. So hopefully that will help. I am going to do at least 30 mins of exercise each day or more on some days. I am also going to go back to measuring all my food. Yuck. I hate this part, but I think it will help.

I'm doing the heart rate monitor thing to see what it says as to how many calories I actually burn each day. The way it's been going I will burn 2200 calories with no exercise in the 16 hours I'm awake. So maybe I'm not eating enough.

Hello all! I didn't get to sleep in yesterday, however I did get to shop!!! Mom and I walked the mall and had a very fun time. It was weird not worrying about class homework. Actually on Monday and Tuesday I have to call in for jury duty.

Lauren, I have actually been looking on carreerbuilders.com, I think its better.
