Hi guys! Sorry I have been kind of scarce around here. I have been so busy I don't know if I am coming or going. I have been pretty faithful to the elliptical, though, an hour 4 times a week. Too much junk food though, and so I stay right where I have been.

It is supposed to be in the 90s here today! Summer is here!!

We have a family reunion over the 4th of July and I would like to be down another 10 lbs by then. That is about 41 days until we go. Or about 6 weeks. Might be doable.

Hi gals! I'm supposed to be at work but Nicole decided to throw up on my sister's couch while she was watching her, so I was only at work for 1/2 hour. She's got this cold so bad that when she really gets coughing, she chokes, and then vomits. I didn't want to leave that with my sister since she has my other sister's kids over there too. Her hands are full enough.

I'm doing good on my eating this week and exercise. I did 11 laps around the high school track last night. So I got 3 miles or better in. I've walked 3 days in a row now. Doesn't seem like much but it's a mountain of success for me. Hope the day is going great for you all.

I'm going to dig up the weeds in my garden and get that going since I'll have to work on Sunday now and print up all my labels. I want to get our garden in this weekend. Veggies, veggies. I'm about ready to die for some home grown produce. It always tastes better fresh from the garden.

HI all
how are you8 going? I am so desperate that I am slipping back to my old 'unmindful eating' habits that I have started a new project - I have set up a spreadsheet where I record every day whether I have done what I intended - track, drink my water, exercise, do some knitting, do soemthing 'just for me" and go to bed by 10.00. These last 3 are b/c I get so caught up in everything and then get 'down on myself b/c I didn't do everything. Then I don't do things I want to (knitting) or take proper care of myself (go to bed early). I also jot down each day's food and will record my weight every week. I'll let you know how it goes!!

Default tracking/journaling

LBTEPA,

I don't know if you are aware of the website fitday.com, but I have been using them daily to track/journal my food and exercise. So far it has been a really good tool to keep me accountable. They also have a reports tab that will break different categories into chart tables. For instance, they have a report that will monitor your weight gain/loss over a period of time, a pie chart to show you how much fat/protein/carbs you've eaten, charts to show you how much calories you've eaten vs. how much you've burned.

I admit that it does take a commitment to log all this information, and probably about 10-15min/day to input the data, but it's kinda cool to see what the changes look like over time.
