Violin Jenn - sounds like you are back on track. You know what needs to be done, now do it. Have a nice vacation. Oh, and Happy Birthday!!

BeachBreeze2010 - we really liked the Black Bean Pizza. I used a home made recipe for deep dish whole wheat pizza crust instead of the refrigerated kind. It came out to 350cals for 1/8 of a 9x13 dish. Paired with a salad, a nice dinner.

Rycher - great goals, girl! Congrats on the upcoming nuptuals!! see all the things I missed around here!?!

------------------------

Missed my 6am bike ride - arg! I forgot that hubby had to work at 6 so he could take our son to the orthodontist this afternoon. Only 5 more payments and those straight teeth are ALL OURS! I plan to ride when my last daycare kid leaves at 5:15...that is if I can get supper on by then.

Had a rough night's sleep - I've had an issue in my back since our 4th child and it flares sometimes. I used to get injections in my joints and do physical therapy, but I can usually control it with Yoga. I think I just need a nice long walk today to tell those nerves who's boss! Maybe load up the strollers and walk to the park about 1.25 miles away.

My 9:15 daycare kid showed up at 7:40 this morning. His Mom forgot to tell me that their morning appointment was cancelled. Good thing I heard the car door and went and put some pants on! I got up with my 2yo at 6:30 and was dozing on the couch with Mr. Fussy Pants when they got here!!

Okay - enough whining. I am going to go make the beds and start some laundry, then we are all going down the trail to the "Far Away Park" as the kids call it. My stupid legs are going to feel better, or else!

I had a hard day yesterday and did some crying over my sister being mean to me. She's a champion for every cause, but never agrees with me and be quite mean. She can't relate with my lifestyle (kids, tight budge) and I can't relate with hers (married, 2 incomes). Anyway - nothing like a brisk bike ride and a good nights sleep to make things right.

On tap today - get my chores done, then take the kids outside - eat morning snack like a picnic! Sandwiches and watermelon for lunch, not sure what's for supper...something with arm roast and veg...maybe some cous-cous. Then the best part of the day:

THURSDAY NIGHT YOGA PRACTICE!!

Hope you all have a great day!

*PS* Am I talking to myself in here??

Thanks, Pixie! Don't let your sister ruin your fun... She's just a big old meanie who can't see you for who you are on the inside.

Brain dead... The rain promptly swapped itself for foot-blistering heat so now I'm dying! I got my Culligan delivered today and had 2 bottles of my beloved sweet tea.

Jenn... Enjoy yourself!

Breeze... Honey... I'm so sorry for what you've been going through. Just remember that you're doing everything for you and your lovely daughters and if you need us, we're just a post away.

Hi ladies!

I've been crazy busy since the girls came on Wednesday. They both play softball, so there seems to be a game almost every day. Last night our game started at 9. We were all struggling to get up at 6 this morning! It really has made me a lot happier to have them with me. I feel a bit better about the arrangement and hope that I feel less lonely the days I don't have them knowing they are coming soon. I get my kitty tonight, too. I wanted to wait until I had a few days where I could be home with her and not have stuff being moved around. She is a little skittish. It will be nice to have her company also. I took my ring off today. Even though it's still a separation, it's obvious he's not in it like he should be and I am trying to move on. Feeling it on my finger constantly makes that harder.

The scale has continued to be kind to me. I got on and it flashed 194 before finally settling on 196.0. I have an irrational theory that means a woosh is coming. I am eating better. I am averaging about 1200/day now. I am choosing to restrict my calories rather than forcing food down my throat. I will say that it's easier now that I am off of the sugar roller coaster and my stomach is "used" to smaller meals. Now that I am on a tight budget, the last thing I want to spend money on is food.

Pixie - I'm sorry that happened! I would guess that your success at the lifestyle you have chosen is somewhat threatening to her and has somehow struck a nerve. Maybe she feels guilt that she isn't home with her kids or involved like you are. Not that that gives her an excuse to be mean to you - not at all. :hug By the way - BIG CONGRATS for dealing with it with a bike ride. That is AMAZING! You should be proud of yourself! How did yoga go?

Misfit - Thanks for support! Our weather has been crazy lately, too. One day it's 90 and humid, the next it's 75 and dry, not to mention the constant rain. It feels like Groundhog Day with every morning being so rainy! (That's why we're still playing softball - so many of our games were rained out in April. We have played some in the rain. Sitting on the sidelines with an umbrella strategically arced around me for 2 hours is not my idea of fun!)

I am looking forward to a nice day tomorrow. After a 9am softball game, the girls and I are going to use the swimming pool and maybe go to see Cars 2.

My irrational theory was right! The scale said 194.0 this morning! YAY! I have been trying to eat a few more calories. Maybe that worked or maybe the weight was due to come off anyway. I won't pretend to understand how this works. The girls go back t thier dad's today, so I will have a few days where I can really crank out some exercise. I think I am going to check out the new gym. A few reps under a squat bar always makes me feel better.

We had a great day at the pool yesterday. The weather was perfect. Today, though will not be as much fun. H and I are meeting to discuss dissolution. Apparently Friday night he made another mistake. I am done. It is getting easier. It didn't kill me inside nearly as much as last time.

I hope it's quiet here because all of you are out having a great weekend!

BeachBreeze - Great job on the whoosh! Glad you had good weather for the pool. Let us know how you like the gym.

The supper went great last night. The Pastor and his Wife are sweet and hilarious - their kids were awesome and had a wonderful time with our kids. Their 6yo said she likes me and wants to live in my house. kids! We are actually going to their house for a Youth/Family get together this evening. Busy weekend with parties, galore!

I took another rest day today. My husband got up and ran 10 miles! I knew he was going out for a run - but gee wiz! I'm so measured and specific with my training, but he just forges ahead with how he feels. Crazy man!

I'm off on Mondays - so think I'll ride my bike again. Wish I could run, but think I need another day. Still sore, don't want to overdo.
