Hi ladies!
I've been crazy busy since the girls came on Wednesday. They both play softball, so there seems to be a game almost every day. Last night our game started at 9. We were all struggling to get up at 6 this morning! It really has made me a lot happier to have them with me. I feel a bit better about the arrangement and hope that I feel less lonely the days I don't have them knowing they are coming soon. I get my kitty tonight, too. I wanted to wait until I had a few days where I could be home with her and not have stuff being moved around. She is a little skittish. It will be nice to have her company also. I took my ring off today. Even though it's still a separation, it's obvious he's not in it like he should be and I am trying to move on. Feeling it on my finger constantly makes that harder.
The scale has continued to be kind to me. I got on and it flashed 194 before finally settling on 196.0. I have an irrational theory that means a woosh is coming.

I am eating better. I am averaging about 1200/day now. I am choosing to restrict my calories rather than forcing food down my throat. I will say that it's easier now that I am off of the sugar roller coaster and my stomach is "used" to smaller meals. Now that I am on a tight budget, the last thing I want to spend money on is food.
Pixie - I'm sorry that happened!

I would guess that your success at the lifestyle you have chosen is somewhat threatening to her and has somehow struck a nerve. Maybe she feels guilt that she isn't home with her kids or involved like you are. Not that that gives her an excuse to be mean to you - not at all. :hug By the way - BIG CONGRATS

for dealing with it with a bike ride. That is AMAZING! You should be proud of yourself! How did yoga go?
Misfit - Thanks for support!

Our weather has been crazy lately, too. One day it's 90 and humid, the next it's 75 and dry, not to mention the constant rain. It feels like Groundhog Day with every morning being so rainy! (That's why we're still playing softball - so many of our games were rained out in April. We have played some in the rain. Sitting on the sidelines with an umbrella strategically arced around me for 2 hours is not my idea of fun!)
I am looking forward to a nice day tomorrow. After a 9am softball game, the girls and I are going to use the swimming pool and maybe go to see Cars 2.
