i am a mom of 5 not all grew in my belly tho. i have three and i am a custodial stepmom to two. my oldest lives with his dad so i only care for him over the phone lol (they live in another state). My other 3 oldest are all teenagers (i think God is playing a joke on me) and my youngest is 8. they are all pretty well behaved so its not that bad. i found this site awhile ago and now i cant remember how lol. i weighed 215 yesterday so thats my start weight. my goal weight is 135. i emotional eat which has gotten worse since i quite smoking in august. my other goals are to drink a gallon of water a day, eating less, eating healthier and excersizing at least 4 times a week. reached all of these yesterday yay me! im good at starting stuff tho. not so good at sticking to things. so far so good today.

Heya, pot, I'm kettle! Isn't black slimming????

The weather has -totally- FUBAR'd my exercise efforts: thankfully I now have a dvd player in the back, so exercise DVD'ing can be done.

I'm mid-goaling: my LT goal is 165; my short term goal is 5% of 227 (initial starting weight -- and short term is only 4 lb away!!!) and mid-goal is 10% (200, basically).

My main thing is Not Eating. If I can remember to NOT EAT, then I do better overall. Food blogging helps, too -- has to be just for me, otherwise I get all guilt ridden, and then the emotional eating -really- kicks in. I'd say my big goal is to form a safe, sane and sensible relationship with food: right now, I feel like it's been running me for 10+ years. Ugh.

How's your weekend going?

Me, I'm down 1, and what with snowpocalypse and the Monday weigh-in (weekends tend to get a little food-heavy, but weeks are pretty kick-butt). May just change to a Wed, 'late' weigh-in for sake of sanity -- but still! total of 8 lb down!

I'm going to go pick out a reward. YOU TOTALLY SHOULD, TOO!! What've you got your eye on?

thx for the carrot! you get one too! 1 pound is still 1 not gained and still going in the right direction! my first mini goal is 10% rounded. i have been trying to pick a reward but i cant think of any i asked my DD and she said a donut lol!
