Hey, all,
I haven't been on in months. Life is crazy for us, and my weight has been reflecting that. Last Friday I was up to 203.7 or 203.8. The lowest I had gotten to in October was 197. I've been trying to at least keep a food log for myself, and it does help me stay better disciplined. The scale is reflecting that as well. Today, Thursday, I was at 201. Not sure what my Fri. weigh-in is going to be. Hopefully lower! I have a LONG way to go. My dh's brother is getting married at the end of May, and I would like to be at least 20 lbs. lighter. I don't think that's unreasonable.
Dh also has significant weight to lose. Thing is, I've been pretty good this week, and he has not. It all goes back to how we're going about it. He keeps wanting to do a fast. I'm just trying to make better food choices and keep track, which makes me more conscious of what I'm eating, so I don't eat as much!
I'm proud of myself. Got a couple boxes of Little Debbie cakes, mostly for the kids, and I haven't touched one yet. I don't plan to. Instead I'll have a yogurt or lower-cal snack bar, or ricotta creme later on to quell the sweet craving that comes on at night.
