Good morning everyone! I tried to post last night before I went off to te b-ball game but the darn thing kept kicking me out saying I wasn't logged in, but I was. I got a little honked off so I just logged out. I'm over it now. We're getting ready for all Gabes little buddies this afternoon, I'll have them from 1pm til the start of tonights b-ball game, WOO-HOO!!!! I made some whole wheat pumpkin muffins this morning and turkey sausage, so I'm starting off positive, what am I gonna do when that cake starts calling my name, Trish, Trish , I'm doomed.
I had alot I wanted to say to everyone last night but I've since given up on last nights post, so all I'll say right now is I hope everyone has a safe weekend and if I need you later I may jump on here in hopes of saving myself from refined sugar overload.
Dangergirl, I'm impressed, it takes a lot of strength to do what you did. I was with my first husband for almost 12 years, he was very abusive and controlling. I spent 9 of those years in fear, 2 suicidal and the last year I was a B----! I finally said thats it and let the chips fall where they may. So I know what its like and I'm so glad that you are in a good place now, Bless you.
Not much to report here - busy all week of course but nothing planned for the weekend. We are still unpacking a few boxes that probably shouldn't have been packed to begin with lol. I've been on the flylady website for several weeks and that is helping me clear out all of our clutter!
I honestly did not have time to check out the other days postings but am glad to be back when I can :-)
Trish - I have never bought turkey sausage.. I was actually looking for turkey bacon the other day and could't seem to find it. Should it be with the regular bacons and sausages?

My DH works today so it is just me and my little man. Right now he is watching Pinicchio and telling me about every scene. We are headed over to my mom's in a little bit. She has a stand at an antique mall so we are headed up to WY to look for stuff. It is fun to look.
Trish-DS and I are eating turkey sausage right now. I love it.

Wow, just read all the posts from yesterday. It was a riot! Was it a full moon last night, or what? You guys were crazy funny yesterday! We're becoming more and more like a "girl's night out" or just hanging out. I LOVE IT! I hate that I was unable to be here more yesterday to hang out. I think I missed you guys!
Well I bombed somewhat last night at supper. We went out for chinese and I ate and ate. Good news is I"m not hungry this morning. Don't know what it'll do to my loss for the week. I still think it's better than going to the catfish place, though. Although I've heard that chinese seems like it's good for you when in actuality it's not. Who knows. I'll just try for a better day today. When it all boils down to it, that's really all we can do right?
Well ladies, I have to cook for a spaghetti dinner that starts at noon....I have 2 1/2 hours. Better get movin'! I'll try to pop back in later today and check to see what hysterics are happening while I'm NOT getting to hang out with you guys!
I am not really awake. I wasn't tired last night ~ I got off at 11pm and then had to unwind. So I ended reading until 4:30 this morning. :sleep:
One of my girlfriends is coming over and I am going to try to get her mind off her troubles for a little while. She is the one that her husband held her and said that he didn't love her and wanted a divorce. I am taking her and her kids for pizza and then playing games with them.

I think I get to go to a reunion concert tonight. It's a local Christian rock band that was popular around here when I was in high school... a bunch of my old buddies from school. I can't wait to see them!
Kegan is still sick and clingy as ever, so I can't really get into much right now. I am reading all the posts, as usual. I always feel so guilty because Ican't respond personally to everyone. We stay busy in here, huh? I love it!
Morning All,
Today is starting to be a better day, than yesterday. I was so tired last night that I fell asleep in bed reading a book with my glasses on. My dh came in and said Honey put your book down and take your glasses off. Then go back to sleep. I slept until I had to pee this morning around 7:30. Then I went right back to sleep until 9. So I got about 10 hours of sleep. My bender ball came in the mail this morning. So I am going to blow it up in a little bit and use it.

Yes I have heard of Ashland. It is only about an hour or hour and a half from me. Maybe we need to meet sometime. Everyone goes to Ashland to the mall from around here. Is it any good?

Kerry, the spaghetti lunch is being put on by a family whose 6 yr old son was burned over 53% of his body about a month and a half ago. He just got out of the hospital last weekend. He LOVES spaghetti, so this is his celebratory party for his recovery. Still has a way to go, but he's sooooo remarkably better now. His parents were burning trash in their yard and he got the gas can (they'd turned their backs for one second, of course) and went and poured the gas on the fire....it exploded, catching him on fire. He was running across the yard yelling, "Put me out! Put me out!" Luckily, his face only got two very small burns on it (they didn't even scar)...most severe burns were around where his waistband on his pants were....the waistband was elastic and it melted to him, making it impossible to get the pants off. Really, REALLY sad situation....has been a valuable lesson for my 9 year old (we call him our "pyromaniac").....he's not had so much of a fascination with fires since all this happened.
I ate something already, so am hoping not to eat much at the dinner. Ya just never know what kind of unhealthy things other folks put in their food....I'm getting to where I hate eating someone else's food.

So, DH is going to his drummer's house to "jam" tonight, so the kids & I are gonna have a "High School Musical" marathon tonight, I think. Frankie is kind of not into it, but I think he'll like it once it's on. We haven't seen them yet, but have heard everyone loves them, so it should be a good night. Besides, I love musicals!!
Off to Michael's to pick up some supplies, then Target for face cream (trying to fight off the inevitable, lol), maybe I'll stop in this new store Blue Tulip. Anyone ever been there? It opened about two months ago, I've been wanting to check it out, so I think I will.

I haven't checked in or read anything in SO long!! It's lovely to see some familiar names.
It's bloody cold today here in the frozen north. I've finally gotten a computer at home (I think I may be one of the last people in Canada to do so.) -so perhaps I'll be a tad more prudent with regards to my 3FC activity. Haha
I haven't made too many huge strides in my fitness or diet, but the fact I'm still movin never ceases to amaze me.
I actually climbed into my frozen car and made it to the gym today so this is good. Mind you I just ate an omelette big enough for two so I'm not sure if that negates the activity.

I am having a fabulous day at work...even though I work on the weekends, at least it is quiet. I do so much better with water when I am here at work. I am worried about next week though. I have family coming to visit today and will leave on Monday afternoon, so I asked off. However I am off until Friday so I have to be on my toes to drink the water. ARGH! Does anyone have suggestions on how to comsume more water if you are not a water fan? I do better in the summer because it is hot and I always seem to crave water, but in winter it is so hard.
