It was the first time I'd seen wasabi-flavored seaweed even here. It was so good that I couldn't stop eating it even when it practically burned my tongue off!

I agree with what everyone else has said about eating more, and eating the right things.

I do however agree with you that eating carbs can make you feel lethargic. I've found that when I eat processed carbs (especially refined sugar in candy) I not only get hungrier faster, but I want to take a nap. This doesn't happen when I eat complex carbs. From your sample day that you posted (not the binge day) it doesn't seem like you`re eating too many of those simple carbs. But feeling bad after the binge is probably due to all the refined carbs. Sometimes I feel hungover after binging on foods like that.

Well, I just had some cookies and now I'm ready for bed!

You guys are right, I discovered that I probably wasn't eating enough. I went shopping for a measuring cup today and I think the "cup" in my head was much smaller than reality so that means I was probably overestimating the calories in FitDay by quite a bit. I will go back and buy one just to be sure from now on but they're so expensive here and very limited choices. I think I'll buy the 1 cup size and just eat everything out of it from now on!

However, I'm worried that I'm underestimating these last few days when I binged. I can't believe I ate all that food and yet I still have a deficit. Makes me wonder how I ever gained weight! Of course, I was a lot less active and probably ate a lot more than I realized when I didn't keep track.

UWPiPhiAngel- Measuring cups are expensive in China?! Anyhoo, it's probably a good idea to measure your food for at little while, at least until the size in your head and the actual size match up!

Yeah because they import them and I think only foreigners buy them because Chinese people don't use measuring cups when they cook (except for rice but that comes with its own cup I guess). The cheapest one I found was plastic and really big, I think like 8 cups, and it cost $2.28. The cheapest single cup I found is glass and costs $4.43. Is that expensive? Should I go for the two cup size (I'm going to eat out of it!)?

Wow, I had no clue! In America, we can buy a set of five plastic ones for about 2 dollars. Actually, the glass one is probably a pretty good deal. You might go for the two cup size, just so things won't spill over the side, but I imagine the one cup will do fine. I feel so worldly and educated now!
