I tried to do some research on cycling carbs back when I tried the Atkins diet, mostly out of the desperation to justify sneaking in a piece of bread or two , but I never actually tried it. I did find alot of forum threads (even a few here) from people who said it worked for them, and alot of bodybuilding websites that recommended it and gave lots of info on why carb cycling works. By cycling carbs you automatically cycle calories. Are you trying it now Susan? I'd definitely be interested to know if it helps with your progress, and if by cycling you get the same horrible carb withdrawals you get from plans like Atkins....

I'm just struggling to keep my intake of anything in check right now
I'm not sure I've ever had a real plateau, only times when I wanted results but was participating only half-heartedly.
If I was in a true plateau, I'd probably try it, yes. But first I'd have to be doing everything right ... which doesn't happen very often
