Default Fitday Frustrations

Ok, so I just started my fitday thing today...now I've heard so many people give different advice as to what kind of "Lifestyle Level" you should put in... Can anyone clarify this for me? And how would it effect things if I put in "Standing work, seated work, etc" or does it even matter??

I'm so clueless how to set this sort of thing up to work for me, so I understand it!

I know a lot of people just put in bedridden as their baseline activity level, including myself. The estimates are a bit high otherwise. When I exercise I just log it for that particular day.

I think the general consensus is that the program grossly overestimates the calories burned and needed so if you aim for the lower amounts, it's more accurate and you'll be more successful.

Does that make sense? I have a headache, so I think I'll go work on something else for a while
