My period is pretty regular, and I'm not on the pill. I do feel bloated before and while I'm on it, so I try not to weigh myself during that week. I have noticed though that if I walk during my period week that it really helps with the cramping.

I bloat a couple of days before my period and during it so I don't tend to lose weight...I just retain water like crazy. About a day after my period finishes though my weight drops quite considerably in comparison to the rest of the time. I also eat more in the couple of days before (not heaps...and it hasnt affected weight loss so I dont know!)

But I am lucky as my period is very very light, lasts two days and has no associated cramping. And I'm not on the pill. Used to be but unfortunately I got hit with a large serving of side effect! I was put on Levlin and found out later it can cause depression which oh boy...did it ever!

I was on the pill last summer, and it gave me cramps (which I never had before), so I went off it.
Haven't been losing for long enough to know how it affects my weight, but I gained last week (and had my period), so here's hoping that it was just that!

I tend to want to eat more or other things while on my period. Last week I was horrible (and lost no weight) with my eating b/c of my period. I am on the patch so my periods are fairly light. Maybe 3 days or so.

Geez..I feel out of place...I gain like 5 pounds, and crave everything under the sun. I'm noton the pill or anything, but its mostly water weight. At the end I usually lose the5 and sometimes 2-3 more.

I like it when I lose the extra too.

I gain about 8 pounds or so leading up to my period. As I progress through my period, it steadily drops and by a day or two after, I've lost the 8 pounds entirely.

I looked at the scale today and almost got discouraged... then I remembered TOM is tomorrow, so I'm hoping I *do* gain weight before it, or else my efforts at losing are not working!!
