Default Newbie Here

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I am Kisha, 21 and just had my first baby on December 14. I was 244 when I delivered, and have been busting my tail to get all that weight off and be healthy while nursing. Whew it's not easy

Hi Kisha and

Wow - 21 and just your first baby. Congratulations My sister turned 21 just 3 months after delivering her first baby (boy was she glad her birthday wasn't while being pregnant).

Is 244 your weight while still pregnant? I would think that immediately you would lose quite a bit of weight from the delivery - but having not been through it myself I couldn't say for what amount. 55 lbs does sound like alot in 6 weeks. What was your pre-pregnancy weight?

Anyhoo welcome to the boards and i hope to see you around heaps.

Thanks everyone, I did lose 20lbs of initial baby weight. That came right off, but then I didn't lose any for a week. I started exercising after that and have adopted completely healthy eating habits. Thats when the extra 35lbs came off. I figure it's been hard working out and taking them off so I get to count them all. Now I am down to losing about 3 lbs a week which I feel is normal. I am giving myself until December to reach my goal of 64 more lbs. I must say though it is really hard to not go in the kitchen and eat everything in the fridge. I am definitely an emotional eater, and I would say emotions are at an all time high right now.
