Saturday:
Breakfast:
Slept through it!

Lunch:
1 large tortilla (I think you know what kind)
0.5 cup vegetarian refried beans
2 black olives
1 oz. lowfat mozzarella cheese

Late afternoon snacks:
1 small banana
10 small fruit leather pouches

"Dinner":
4 chocolate peanut butter rice cakes
1 cup low fat ice cream

Evening snack:
1 small homemade cinnamon roll

Exercise: 50 min. elliptical/65 min. bike/35 min. elliptical with no arms

Water: 2 nalgenes

Okay, so maybe I went overboard on the fruit leather, but seriously, those have NEVER tasted so good before! They're all-fruit ones with no added sugar and each one counts for a half serving of fruit, so I guess it wasn't the worst choice in the world! I wasn't quite able to stick to the below 1300 cals. plan today - the DH and I were baking for a bake sale he has on Monday and it was killing me. I couldn't do it - but I was able to have just one cinnamon roll and stay under 1500 cals. - so all in all, a victory. Don't you love my healthy dinner - my mother would kill me if she saw that!

I was doing so well....and then crashed. Had a BBQ/homebrewing party to go to last night and started off the night drinking water and diet rockstar, eating veggies and baked beans instead of the 3 B's (beer, bratwurst and burgers). Then had some chips tempting me from the other room and caught a glimpse of what looked like peanut m&m's...which I don't like so it was ok and then i thought "wait maybe they are peanut BUTTER m&m's (which i love)" so I had to try them and I was a goner from then on out. They were gone by the end of the night and I think I had a 1/4 bottle of vodka in my stomach by then too. Ugh.

I have a 5-k race coming up in 2 weeks so I am swearing off alcohol until then to prepare. If I can fit into a sexy Halloween costume by then *maybe* I can drink the following weekend.

I blew this weekend so bad. What's the problem with me lately? The only reason I lost this week was because I got a new (accurate) scale. This week I will do well and I will lose 2-3 pounds or ELSE!!!

I with you there, trnsfrmnreplace. I'm ready to go pull a jar of the stuff out of the cabinet. I wish there wasn't any in the house.

Sorry I'm a chocolate fiend, that's the only kind I allow myself since I can pair it with something good. My favorite is to take a little Nutella and some peanut butter and dip apple slices in both. Yummmmmmy!

Oh the food porn laydees!

I'm reporting in to say - I managed to have a clean weekend! I factored in my "free meal" on Saturday evening and I was only up to about 2200 cals even with my fish and chips! Sunday was clean too! Then when we were in bed I caught the binge bug, I wanted to eat and eat and eat but I stayed in bed, then got out and cleaned my teeth!

So how did I do it? I took a picnic out on Saturday when we were walking round town. a fruit and nut bar and some chicken and bacon for an organic roll we went to buy. We went to a food market and bought loads of healthy Organic food. I swear apples have never tasted so good! Then we were out for dinner, so I decided to keep to diet coke to drink, have whatever I wanted for my main meal and a dessert if I wanted one! I had fish and chips, the chips were gorgeous, but I left 1/3 of them. I also stole some feta cheese from DF's plate. We were going to go to a different pub for dessert but decided to go to the supermarket to buy some stuff for pudding. I got chocolate chip cake bars, chocolate cookies, ice cream and chocolate buttons. I came home and made a HUGE sundae, then I only ate the ice cream, the rest tasted horrible I am finally turning into a foodie! I'm starting to hate processed food... I'm getting worried about me!

Then on Sunday DF was out doing a police shift so I kept myself busy with 3 loads of washing, supermarket shopping, ironing, kill bill, a nice bath etc... And just ate when I was hungry. Then one of my fillings fell out... So that put paid to the chocolate I was about to scoff!

BUMP!

How is everyone going to manage this weekend?

I'm not sure of our plans for tomorrow but DF wants to go to Canterbury, which should be really nice. However he finishes his shift at 2am so I reckon he'll be a big tired monster tomorrow!

So I think I'm going to do what I did last weekend, a small luxury shop this afternoon for foodie treats like some luvverly bread and whatever else is nice. So I'll pack myself a lunch/snacks for wherever we go out tomorrow and possibly a meal out.

Then on Sunday we're going to watch a car race and I have no idea what kinds of food will be there but I'm guessing burger vans! So again I might just pack myself a sandwhich and allow myself some chips or something Anyways I ain't going to be stuffing my face like usual - I don't want to disrupt my run of 4 point days in the points challenge

Anyone else got any fail-proof weekend strategies?
