blondie that is so cool! I wish I had the courage to try something like that--sounds like you are learning some neat stuff. (-;

I had my first NSV today, although it is a little disapointing...

I just bought a brand new pair of a pants about a month ago and I purchased them so they were comfy (not too tight not too loose) like I always have...

anyway... they are too big now I can't keep them up! I should have bought a smaller size and it's disapointing because I love these jeans they are awesome

Anyway, so it encouraged me to try on new sizes and... 14/16's depending on the brand fit!!!!! maybe still a little tight but still!

Great NSV's!

Today I realized that I now weigh LESS than my driver's license says! Wa-hoo!

Star: I love that NSV - man, I can't wait for that one... only a few more lbs. away for me! There's something about those darn licenses, isn't there? Anyways, I've got a new NSV. My immediate family, who sees me every week, has officially noticed my weight loss this week. All my hard work has been observed! (I never really talked to them about my efforts.) It's alot harder to notice weightloss when you see the person all the time, so I'm psyched! Then I thought, you know what? I've lost 35 lbs! They better notice! :P That's like 15% of me original body weight! But that's a scale victory, so I'll save that for somewhere else...

Jenicra and Aimes - that's got to feel great!

Oh God! I got some wild bug to try on my old prom dress (from 11 years ago) and it fits!!! I couldn't believe it! I just started crying and crying. Then I threw on my tiara and slippers and had a glass of wine

(Jenicra - Only 12 pounds to my all-time lowest weight! I've lost 29% of my starting body weight )

Star Princess - How amazing to fit into your prom dress!

I was out at my parents house today, did not attempt to try on any prom dresses of my own, I will never fit into them again, I weighed 105 pounds for most of high school, not the best weight for someone who is 5'6".

Anyway, I tried on my sister's prom dress and almost got the zipper all the way up. She's so skinny that for me to be able to fit something that she wears over my hips and realize that I'm only one size larger than her makes me feel really good. Especially because she's 16 and I'm an old lady of 26.

Last night, I must have been bored, but also somewhat interested to see if I could fit in a old pair of jeans that I 've had forever and just can't part with. They are some old CK jeans, size 11...

AT one point, I couldn't even get a leg in, but now I can get both in and up over my butt...still can't zip them...but damn, that is cool, and it really motivated me actually!

Yeah, that's a NSV!!!

My NSV for the week is that for the first time, I climbed 4 flights of stairs without getting winded - heck, my heart rate barely went up! Yippee!!!

Star: Wow! Four flights without being winded?? That's great!!

Hey, good idea, jenicra! Thanks! That is my NSV!

Another one: I'm not sure if this is an NSV or not... but, I noticed at Wal-Mart last night that I no longer search for the closest place. I park wherever I find a place (usually quite a ways from the door) and enjoy the walk in. Before, it was get the closest place and still dread the walk in. And, that's something I started doing without realizing it. It wasn't: "I'm going to park far away so I can get some walking in." I just did it.

Jina - That's definitely an NSV, not only are you running but you're unconsciously fitting more exercise into your day? That is huge!

My NSV of the week is something that my boyfriend pointed out to me. He mentioned that since I've been running more I look a little thinner, especially around my waist and back. I took a look at my back when I was getting dressed this morning, and I can't believe it - my little back fat love handles are gone. They've been pretty small for a while, but there was always something there, now my back is just a smooth curve from neck to waist. I'm freaking out because I had assumed that they would just never go away and I didn't even notice when they finally did!
