Its time for new goals or ones we have not focused to much on.
My goals for November
1. More journaling
2. Slack up on the intake of diet coke *it makes me bloated*
3. Eat more veggies * just not getting enough*
4. Try to walk at least 3 times a week before weather gets
real bad.
5. Stay Positive and Motivated
OK---I need this. And I need some help in sticking to it!
1. Start going to the gym again, 3-4 times a week
2. More water! 4 of my little Poland Spring bottles a day
3. cut out the sugar again!!! [that's gonna be a HARD one!]
4 get help on the whole Low Carb thing.
1. Go to the gym or do some other form of exercise 4 times a week.
2. Get back into my weight training, 2-3 times a week.
3. More water!
4. Try to stick with my first three goals!
2) Get through Thanksgiving dinner/festivities without overeating--I know I can do this if I stay mentally focused on my goals, and remind myself how much I HATE the feeling of being too full now
3) Concentrate on watching portion sizes--I know WHAT to eat, but I have a feeling I'm often getting TOO MUCH of it
4) Remember WHY I'm doing this--counting the reasons would take all day! There are SO MANY REASONS to lose this weight.
Of course I'll be doing the usual eating/exercise routine, and since I always do that, I didn't post it in my goals this time.
* Try to lose 1 lb per week avg (figuring in Thanksgiving).
* Don't take more than 2 days per week "off" from exercise.
* Keep reading and posting at 3FC (this really keeps me on track).
* Record ALL of November in fitday.com (October was on and off).
Ok, keeping it really simple this month
1. Push the water
2. start measuring and weighing portions again
3. squeeze in at least 4 quality workouts a week
4. get to 187 by the end of the month- haven't weighed yet but that would be about an 8 lb. loss.
(1). Exercise five days/week.
(2). Begin strength training.
(3). Weigh 180 at the end of the month. (That would be a 6.5-pound loss. Hopefully, more than that, but I'll feel better about myself if I meet and exceed the goal, rather than not meeting it. Does that make sense?)
(4). Continue daily postings at 3FC and attending TOPS (my biggest motivators).
1. 82 kilograms by the end of the month (lose 3 kilos)
2. Add monday and thursday aerobics to my workout schedule (right now it's a pathetic once a week!)
3. Do not gain weight during my visit home over Thanksgiving.
Hey girls, I'm new to this area of the board, but I hope you don't mind if I jump in with you?
Plans for the month:
1. No soda, and drink more water than I have.
2. Exercise at least 3 times a week, and this means at least a half an hour each time.
3. Do my best to avoid sweets, and if I have to have one, allow myself one sweet/dessert a week so it's something I can look forward to. This way I'm not refusing myself the snack either.
Oh my gosh! How could I have forgotten about November goals?!?!?!
Well I think this month is going to be hard. Its holiday season and we all know that food comes along with the holidays. So My goal was to reach my personal goal of 145 by my b-day which is the 27th. Well that's not going to happen so I am changing it to 145 by the end of January. So below are my November goals:
1. Exercise at least 3 times a week (I've been sick this week so so far this goal isn't looking to good)
2. Drink lots of water!!!
3. Stay motivated
4. Don't go overboard just because its the holidays!!
5. Get to 155 by Thanksgiving. I'm at 159.4 today so that is reasonable.
1) Get to 185 (for an 8-lb. loss for the month) *I'm at 187 now, so it'll happen*
2) Get through Thanksgiving dinner/festivities without overeating--I know I can do this if I stay mentally focused on my goals, and remind myself how much I HATE the feeling of being too full now
*have yet to fulfill this one*
3) Concentrate on watching portion sizes--I know WHAT to eat, but I have a feeling I'm often getting TOO MUCH of it *doing better on this, and continuing to work on it!*
4) Remember WHY I'm doing this--counting the reasons would take all day! There are SO MANY REASONS to lose this weight.
*every day I thank God for my success & ask for continued victory*
I am doing so-so. I am averaging 1/2 pound per week rather than a pound, but I guess a loss is a loss so I won't beat myself up too much. I'm doing fairly well with fitday by only missing one day so far this month. This was a BAD gym week for me, but I went this morning and I am getting back on track!
