I hear ya, Jamie!!!

Onederland is totally a mental thing, and I can't wait to be there in 10 more pounds! Though I'll still have 45 pounds to go from that point, just the thought of NOT having the "2" at the beginning of my weight, is thrilling!

Yup, I cried when I hit 199, no kidding. It was incredibly emotional even though I too had a long was to go before goal, even at 199. But now being 6 pounds from half way, I think I may even be more thrilled once I hit the half way point. There are so many things to motivate, I just have to look and each day I find something new, 199 was one of the best so far.

Thumbs down

This is a really cool idea..thanks. I am actually really new at this...waiting for my WW at home kit to arrive this Friday. Now I can make a box probably for every 5-10lbs I loose. I am sure this will motivate me a lot more.

Well, I haven't made a box yet....but I already know what I am going to put in it when I do. However, hopefully all my hard work will payoff and I will be in Onederland this friday so I need to get on it so I can REWARD myself !!!!!

Well, I don't have an actual box from which to pull a reward either, but I do have a list of weights & rewards on a page in my journal. Every five pounds, I get a small-ish material reward that I really look forward to! I sort of plan them out ahead of time, but if I can't think of anything specific, I just go out shopping get something neat that I find at a good price. For instance, for my last reward I found a pair of really pretty pajama pants on clearance at Eddie Bauer, so I got them! (I needed them, too--old pajama bottoms are way huge!).
That's how I do the reward thing, anyway!

I LOVE this idea! I just made my "rewards" and when I get home I will decorate a beautiful "box". Some of my rewards:

* A new treat from Bath & Bodyworks
* A facial at the spa
* A new pair of shoes (it's OK if they are not on sale)
* A new handbag (again, OK if not on the clearance rack)
* A new piece of jewelry
* New gym clothes (cute shorts, top, sports bra)

...and that should leave me at GOAL when I can go out and buy a whole new wardrobe!

I might need to get a second job to fund my reward box!!!
