Hahahahahahaha! Fabulous abs! Oh, too funny... I have fabulous abs in the same universe in which I am having a flamingly hot love affair with Colin Firth, i.e. a universe so far removed from reality that it almost defies comprehension.

How could I forget Harry Potter books. I love those books. Thanks for reminding me Lynnie. I have the last one just waiting for me to read but I'm in the middle of the James Patterson book so maybe I will read Potter once I'm done with that.

Hmmmm...is "A Walk in the Clouds" a chick flick? If so then that is definitely my favorite movie Keanu is great eye candy in that movie.

Oh yeah and I'm with Bella on the whole shopping thing! I'm a shop-a-holic. Lately I've toned down on clothes shopping but I think I just channeled it to apartment stuff shopping. If only I had a neverending money supply.

Hello All ---

I am pretty new here and i love getting to know more about people on the boards. And it was fuuny that someone mentioned that we might not even talk to one another on the street... I have thought about that a few times. It's kind of one of those "what a shame" feelings... everyone is so nice and unique. Anyways...humm, hobbies --

Reading - just about any genre, as long as it keeps my interest.

Trail runnin/hiking - Used to be all about the trail running when I lived in WI, WA & KS... even VA has some really nice ones where I was stationed, but in Germany I have just been soooooo busy and the elevation gets me every time! So, and have been running (jogging) on paths out here.

Horse back riding - I have done it professionally, but I am always about the fun! I have been riding since I was about 3, so again it hard out here not having a horse.

Movies and TV - I love seeing GOOD movies, but it just seems like Hollywood has been struggling lately. On TV I am a faithful "FRIENDS" follower and have been since the first episode.

Traveling - I have lived and traleled to almost all of the lower 48 states and have been to 5 different countries over here.

Crafts - I stick to candle and soap and wreath making... I have tried quilting and needle point, and kitting and the only one of those I was able to achieve andy amount of success in is the knitting, and that is only with my own personal screwed up "stiches" or "knots" or whatever you wanna call them

Baking and cooking ---- espically those rich fatty dishes I am not allowed to eat anymore - well, there you have another one! Eating!! I excel at eating!!

Spending time with hubby!! (that's probably my favorite)

Oh - chick flicks -- Steel Magnolias and the Joy Luck Club, and I love watch Disney movies -- espically Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, and the Lion King, and the little Mermaid and......

Time for the newbie to jump in!

Reading~I love to read more than anything. I will just about read anything but my favs are Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, Laurell K. Hamilton, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz. I've recently discovered Kay Hooper and Alex Kava for good murder mysteries. And I love Harry Potter! I can't wait for the next one!

Dancing and singing~I don't have any particular skill at either but I love to crank it up and shake my booty and sing my heart out. As long as no one is looking of course! My current fav cds are Christina Aguilera, Evanescence (Bring Me to Life is my theme song!!), Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits, and Pop Goes the 80's (love that 80's music!)

Movies~Love them!! The last one I saw will be my favorite for a long long time. Seabiscuit. It is sooooooo wonderfullly fabulous.. A must see! I love all kinds especially horror and murder mysteries. The Ring was great, love the Blade movies, and Sean Connery rules over all!

Nascar~I'm a Nascar fanatic--You will find my butt on the couch every Sunday afternoon if Nascar is on..

Exercising/Hiking: Love to hike if I have companions. Found a fab trail this week in NC in the Joyck Kilmer forest. Went for a lovely 2 mile hike in sandals (no joke-did not know it was a hike. We thought you could drive up to these big huge trees and photograph them.. Nope, had to hike to them!) I love Walk Away the Pounds tapes and am trying to learn how to bellydance! I love to swim.

Traveling~I love to travel and am finding it more difficult now that my friends are getting married and having babies! Anyone in the southeast interested in taking some road trips?? I went on my first cruise in March to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Loved it--can't wait to go back now that I'm getting fit!

Photography~I love to take photos! I just wish I was better about putting them in albums, lol!

I guess that's enough for now..brain is dying from overuse without enough water!

This is a really a really tough question for me since I am so involved in music, but I have to saw my favorite band is ummm...hold on gotta think.....probably Reggie and the Full Effect.

I know many of you may have never heard of them. They are a pop-punky type band with lot's of keyboard and I love keyboards! They also put on a great show. It's not just a show, it's an experience. I love them.....Well it's really one guy, but whatever.

Hmmmmm.... I go through streaks...But I always listen to the Reverend Horton Heat (Rockabilly). Then I love Peter Paul and Mary as well...Totally different but I love all kinds of music!!!

I am jealous of the 50-60 furniture...we are always collecting it, however we have a SMALL house and that makes it hard to decorate the way we want too... But I love the tiki-bar idea...I can't wait to get ours done either...

Two favorite bands from different eras: First, the Beatles! and second, Barenaked Ladies (BNL). Its sorta funny.. cause they overlap. BNL sang a song about Yoko Ono.. its a great song

Mine aren't bands but are musicians I will never ever give up: Prince, Madonna...
