Thanks Tonic!!

Today has been an excellent exercise day for me...I'm excited since it's my 2nd day of Tri training. Yay!! Anyway...I purchased a mountain bike that I plan to but road bike tires on for the Sprint Tri. And I went for a ride. I did 45 minutes of bike riding. Then later this evening I went jogging. It was ROUGH since I'd jogged yesterday too. I managed to go pretty steadily for a little over 30 minutes though. Yay me!!

That's all for today.

Hello ladies,

Here are my exercise goals:

exercise 3X/week
walk a minimum of 30 minutes everyday

I am going to the gym tonight. It will have to be a quick workout, as I am meeting some friends afterwards. Generally I would have used going out as an excuse not to exercise...but these friends are also in the process of loosing weight, so they were very supportive when I said that I would be a bit late because I wanted to sneak a quick workout in. Really quite pleased with myself for not "excusing" myself from exercising tonight!

So far have done the minimum of 30 minutes of walking everyday...

Good work everyone!

Everyone is doing great! Keep up the good work ladies!

So I got my 30 minutes cardio and weights in today. That makes 2 days this week, with 4 left.

Smile Walking to Shed the Pounds

Got in 2.7 miles of power walking yesterday. Don't know if I'll get in any exercise today, but I will try my hardest.

Total exercise so far this week = 7.5 miles

Keep up the good work ladies

Woohoo! Everybody is doing so well!

Stayed longer than planned at the gym last night...I don't mind it too much once I am there! Guess that I figure that I have put the effort into going, I am best to make it worth my while!

I am planning to go after work again tonight. I have decided that I will bring all of my gym stuff for the week on Monday, and just store it in one of the empty drawers in my office. That way, I cant use the "oops...forgot my socks, hair elastic (whatever!) today, guess that I can't exercise" excuse.

I am even contemplating joining my partner's baseball team...but am a bit intimidated. I am pretty clumsy, and not an especially good batter, catcher, etc... However, his team is short on women, and they are just a recreational league. Everybody gets into the playoffs, no matter how they do during the year! Has anybody else joined any team sports? How did it go? I am a bit anxious that I will be unable to catch a fly ball and disappoint the other players...I have even been invited to join an Ultimate team! Yikes!

I didn't do the spinning this morning, instead I did the bike for 10 min and the elliptical for 20.

Good morning all,

Went to the gym again last night. Did 27 minutes on the eliptical, which might be my record! Then about 20 minutes of weights. It felt pretty good!

I have even agreed to join the Ultimate team! Should be interesting...I am thinking that I will try throwing a frisbee around with my DB this weekend!

Take care,
Kris
