Default New here!

Hey guys! I'm a full time college student and I also work in retail almost 40 hours a week. I have always tried to lose weight on my own and have not succeeded, so I decided to take a chance and join a community that encourages, shares meal ideas, etc. I don't really know how this site works but I'm looking forward to "meet" some great people. I'm around 5'8" and currently 254 lbs. and I have a goal of 165.

My biggest challenge is fighting the urge to grab fast food. With my crazy schedule it seems like a good idea but now I'm just overweight, sluggish, and unmotivated.

If any of you have any tips to keep motivated and fight the fast food urge I would greatly appreciate it! Also, if you want to swap emails or Facebook I'd love an accountability partner! Non of my friends are overweight and they don't really understand the struggles.

Welcome to 3FC!

The best way to fight that urge to buy fast food is to have your own food available During college I also worked and went to school full time, but bringing my own food really helped me stay on track (and save money!)

Hey there! You're gonna like it here, I'm sure. We have similar stats! I've been trying to lose for a long time and 3CF is probably the only reason I'm still trying, though I haven't seen significant losses yet. That's my fault though. I have been working through some of my disordered eating habits, trying to pick my way back to the source so I can start my journey a little less painfully than it has been in the past.

I'm also in college and work full-time, though I'm a part time student. I don't see how you do it! Good for you.

The people on here are wonderful!

Welcome! I am new here as well! I totally understand the bust schedule thing. I think so many of us take on so much in our lives we forget about what we are putting in our bodies! It was just so easy to grab fast food coming home from work than waiting an hour for something to cook! It is taking effort but the results keep me going

Good luck with everything! I have found a lot of support here, just reading and experiencing my weight loss with the wonderful people here!

Welcome Welcome Welcome!

Kicking the fast food habit is hard, but once you get past it, your brain switches to automatically making it last choice,

You can do this!
