I love acai berry's from whole foods. They taste so good with blue berries and bananas.

Green tea
Dried seaweed
Oatmeal (preferably the thick-cut variety)
Dried red/black beans
Various fruits (really favoring melon at the moment)
Various veggies
Ginger
Garlic
Tofu
Eggs
Dried fish (kind of getting sick of this, but can't ask for better lean protein)
Raisins or dried goji berries
Kimchi (this will stop a runaway appetite dead in its tracks, haha)
Black or brown rice
Sesame oil
Almonds

I do live in China, but everything I eat should be easily available in the US, too. Something I've found really interesting is that I eat almost the same foods as I did back in the states.

I have found that too, xiaobaicai! Kimchi is a lifesaver, you can eat the whole jar and it's like 100 calories (though salty as heck).

I eat the same things at home all the time:

Chicken breast
Salmon
Greek yogurt
Oranges
Frozen vegetables (California mix, butternut squash)
Spring/baby salad mix (I eat a whole bag for lunch many days)
Tomatoes
Red peppers
Peanut butter
35 calorie sliced whole wheat bread
Bok choy
Japanese sweet potato
Sesame oil
Olive oil

OMG I miss good Kimchi. I might need to learn to make it until I get to Hawaii. I can't find it here!

Agave (if I am out)
Grapefruit

Greek Yogurt
Chicken
Ground Buffalo
Salmon
Nuts
All sorts of fruit
All sorts of veggies. Lots of spinach, avocados, carrots, garlic, cucumber, tomato
Julie's Organic 100 calorie chocolate popsicles. Amazing.

Coconut water
Sweet potatoes. I love these.. I cook a huge one and then take half for lunch the next day

So many good ideas in this thread!

Among my favorite staples:

-Sweet potatoes and cottage cheese (I mix these together w/ cinnamon for lunch- since some of you were talking about cottage cheese combos, try this one out! SOO good!)
-Chicken
-Lean ground beef
-Apple chicken sausage
-Romaine lettuce
-Steamfresh veggies
-Apples
-Grapes or strawberries
-milk
-seltzer
-celery or carrots (I have to be realistic about how many raw veggies I will actually eat and how many will go bad before I get them)
-Onions
-Canned beans
-Shirataki noodles
-Fibergourmet pasta
-Multigrain english muffins
-eggs
-Popcorn
-LF shredded cheese
-String cheese

Bananas
Cucumbers
Carrots
Skim Milk
Turkey Breast Deli Meat
Whole Wheat pita bread (I use the pocket halves for sandwiches!)
Apples
Oranges
Avocado
Green/Red Bell Peppers
Yogurt (I used to get Greek yogurt, but since I moved overseas it's been hard to find...)
Tofu

i eat a LOT of fruits & veggies. usually when i have a sugar craving, i try to eat fruit instead of candy/baked goods that are laying around in my house. also, i eat rice almost everyday (i'm Korean), but limit myself to 1/2 cup & try to eat a lot of veggie / tofu side dishes.

I am vegan so mine is probably a little different:

Unsweetened almond milk
Chick peas (for homemade hummus, and they are awesome roasted)
100% whole grain pasta
Big bag of spinach
Whole rolled oats
Mushrooms
Sweet potatoes
Fresh lemons
Asparagus
Walnuts
Brown rice
Whole grain bread
Whole grain wraps
Yellow and orange peppers
Kalamata olives
Frozen berries
Lots of other fresh fruits and veggies

I have things I buy every month or so like almond butter, wheat germ, etc but these are a lot of my weekly things.
