I hate TOM... cant wait for it to be gone for good... lmfao However I did start the Insanity workouts this week... just finished Day 3... Still not sure if I got that job that I had the interview for, but i have two more interviews on Wednesday so hopefully those go well and I am spoilt for choice! I hate waiting around for jobs and things, you'd think that being at home, being able to spend your time how you want, with no stress or pressure, just planning your wedding would be awesome, but it is actually getting a bit old now.

BUT I did go wedding dress shopping on the weekend, omg it was so much fun. There were so many dresses I liked. Going again on Thursday and I cant wait It'll be a nice trip after the interviews on Wednesday too.

Torito- definitely look Miranda up! Its hilarious. Glad to hear about your midterms!

Amanda- welcome! And good luck!

sam- did you figure your hair out? That sucks about all the temptations but i like your sneaky thinking

rie- its funny how the veg just gets dropped isnt it! I always find that if I dont consciously think about what veg I am having for dinner, it doesnt happen! But it feels so much better to have a veg. I usually just steam or boil something green and have it with whatever we are having.

Rie How are you doing with more veggies? I've got the same problem; looooove my grains. Not as good about protein and veggies.

Samma too funny about the donuts! Smart move on your part.

ak812 welcome! Your exercise plan looks good to me! This site is awesome for support.

torito that is super annoying about the cereal! Sometimes my roommate's friends eat my food and that bugs me....I only have to go down the street for more. I can't imagine if I had to go to a different country for it!

ghost what style of wedding dress are you liking the most? ballgown? mermaid?

The pollen here is HORRIBLE lately. My car is filthy dirty.
Honestly not too much to report...my days have been pretty run of the mill lately. Hope everyone's doing well!

Quietballerina- well thats a million dollar question! My partner is indian so I was looking for something fusiony. I want a dress, not a sari, but finding something that is a mix of the two is difficult. I've tried on a sort of mermaid one and it suited me (and gave me hips!) but I really like the massive puffy ones- I think they are called A-line gowns?

Well...gained 3 back. I deserved it.

I ended up just getting the usual haircut, but added a long layer.

Tomorrow's my birthday, so my mom is taking me out to dinner. I'm thinking Mad Mex because of margaritas and a burrito. NOM.

I'll do personals on Wednesday. I'm on my phone so it's a pain to type!

Ghost Massive puffy ones are ball gowns. A line sort of goes 'out,' but not as much as a ball gown. I watch way too much "say yes to the dress".

This is a Ball gown dress

This is A Line. But A lines can get on the puffy side too.

Oh right I see, I dunno if we have different definitions here (my experience in weddings is that there are no definitions!!!!) but this is the kind of thing I was thinking, and it falls under A-line, I think. Or Princess Gown?

I've been watching lots of that programme where about 4 girls have their weddings and vote on each others, I forget the name xD Its "research"

Four Weddings!! Yes I watch that too!! At least you can use "research" as your excuse. I'm not even dating anyone seriously.

Hmm....I have no idea what that dress would fall under. You're right; ball gown/princess/a line all have similar qualities. I know it's not sheath or mermaid! that's about it.

Yes thats it! Haha I think I've been watching wedding shows forever anyway, always fun, especially that Bridezilla show that started a million years ago, I think thats still going. Did you guys get the show about Gypsy Weddings? Also research I am totally trying on this dress just because of that show:

BUT the crazy thing is that normal wedding dresses weigh A LOT. Like, seriously heavy, in the stores they put them on moveable carts to take them to the changing rooms because they are so long and heavy. And those are normal wedding dresses! I cant believe how heavy the gypsy ones must be. Or how the girls can even move under that weight!

I hate TOM too! Eugh! Good luck with Insanity, how's it going? I watched an ad for it the other day and just closed the window haha

Good luck with the jobs, did you hear anything? I'd love to have an interview at this stage, there's nothing here at all. Trying to set something up for myself I think it's the only way. Ooh wedding dresses! Sounds fun.

Quiet Ballerina
Ditto on the filthy car! Hope you're doing well too

Happy Birthday! Or in Irish: breithlá sona duit

I don't think I've popped in here this month. Not taking antibiotics anymore (after 6 bloody weeks) and having dental surgery next month.

My stupid cat brought a mouse into the house the other night. When it's raining she goes outside to get one and tries to bring it inside to play with it haha, I managed to stop her but she dropped the mouse and it was stuck under the door. It ran into my boot and wouldn't come out for dear life, then it fell out and ran into my wellington boot haha, I think I'm going to give them clean.. ahem, damn cat!

Also our water has been off for 2 days as we realised that for the past few months there's been a leak under our house, pretty much a running tap so if you hear about any houses sinking into the unknown in Ireland it's probably me.

How's it going everyone?

Samma- did you have a nice birthday?

Leila- ive got an offer but I havent decided what to do with it yet xD More likely than not, I'll take it, but I want to sleep on it. What specialisation/area are you looking for work in? Also yay for the antibiotics, but wont you have to go back on them for the surgery? Your cat sounds super cute

Had two interviews today, that was not a good idea! Very tiring and I'm not really sure how well they went. But PT tomorrow and then dress shopping so not going to worry too much and just try to enjoy the day

Yeah I'll probably have to take more but I don't mind as long as they take the stupid tooth out.

Sleeping on it is a very good idea, it takes a while for things to settle and make a good decision. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Anything really, I missed out so far on having a good education due to health issues for a number of years. I'm hoping I can go back and study next year as I should be able to get Government funding but there's a possibility they'll cut that so I guess I'll evaluate the situation then. I do a lot of photography right now and I'm doing some exhibiting so I'm hoping to make something out of that. I might get a job in an art gallery in the Summer so fingers crossed for that

You're an interview machine!

My cat is cute, too cute that's why she gets away with this mouse business.

LeilaJay I'm so happy you're getting your surgery!! Well, not happy for the surgery part. Happy for the soon-you'll-be-feeling-better part. Good luck!!
Gross about the mouse...a family I used to babysit for had a cat that would regularly go after squirrels. yuck.

I am so so sleepy today. Had to work from 8am-10.45pm yesterday (not a typical day for me by any means). The extra money is great...but the lack of sleep is not. And for some reason I kept waking up! 3am... 4am... 5am... 6am.... ugh. There's a train near me and it might have been because of that. Aiming for a better night's sleep tonight.

Leila- true, i guess thats the thing about dental work, I always feel like i wouldnt mind it as much if it was solving something painful!

Ballerina- I hate it when that happens, you keep waking up every hour. Might as well actually get up at that time, but of course your sleep deprived brain doesnt think of that

OMG woke up this morning and something has bitten my eye lid and it is all swollen and horrible. Arg i hate it when things happen to my eyes! I took some stuff for it and it seems to be going down but I have been googling it and have convinced myself I have periorbital cellulitis lol. Also have to try and make a decision about jobs today since i likely have 2 offers which have the opposite benefits and disadvantages to each other, sigh. Why isnt it ever simple? Why my eye????
