Default Waist to Hip Ratio

Hello everyone! I'm new over here at 3fc but I've been an in-and-out lurker for a little bit. I've been calorie counting and working out for the past 5 weeks and have lost 7 pounds so far (yay!) but I have a weird kind of question...

When I online-window browse, most size charts list a 10-inch difference between waist and hips. I only have a 5-inch difference. Does anyone know if this will increase as I lose weight? I am an apple-shape so I'm hoping the waist will get smaller but I feel like I'm doomed to curvelessness.

Any insight??

No idea. I've always been an absurdly curvy lady with a large WTH ratio.

If you want to increase your ratio, I suggest weightlifting with a program like StrongLifts. Women who lift heavy weights tend to have a greater WTH ratio. Too much ab work can make you thicker through your core, which I know is NOBODY's intended goal.
